If I was President and the Gov. of Cali came to me asking for funds for their most damaged roads and presented a compelling case then Id probably find room in the budget for it..but I wouldnt make it a huge point in my "New New Deal".

Obviously, happens with most states..particularly the bankrupt ones. Whats your point? Would your "new new deal" be proposed to the nation and introduced to congress as 1.5 trillion dollars directly to California to fix their roads?

what i'm saying is roads are partially paid for by the feds TOO. and unlike others may think just because the roads in your little town are smooth. MOST are not. The US overall needs a lot of road work, infrastructure work. not just cali. i just used my state as an example. but again obeezy is already doing that.

Jobs. I'm rebuilding infrastructure(bridges, roads, streetlights etc) throughout the US, Installing more solar panels, settings up committees and programs to clean up the highways and parks in order rid them of liter and non artistic graffiti.

Also would focus a lot on bolstering competitiveness by making access to training and higher education easier. We would have a focus on the fields most necessary to be competitive. Id also create a public healthcare option and overhaul the tax system for something simple and way less progressive. Id look to adopt some Scandinavian public programs like extended paternal leave etc. Taxes for most people would go up but the country would be better off overall

Providing more trade related programs to the disenfranchised gives an opportunity for black peopke to master skills that can be used to create wealth and jobs

Those that perform to a higher level in the trade program can be eligible for loans for business creation after completing a course on how to start and maintain a small business.

The rest is up to them. Family values play a part as a corner stone for business because a dysfunctional home can often lead to bad business.

Main focus is the modernization, improvement and expansion of transit infrastructure, with particular focus on rail and rapid transit/light rail.

Secondary focus on researching sustainable energy/supporting related industries.

Tertiary focus on pulling out current government agricultural subsidies and putting them into community gyms.

I agree with @unit321, except for #8.

I would put a good chunk into education because the best students make for a better economy because they can create things. I would divide the education funds between schools of teachings that focus on technical knowledge(hardware), and other would focus on the arts(creativity), and software education since the way of the world is computing.

I would also put a huge chunk into financial person responsibility, as well as health education. The more people who can take care of themselves, the less strain on tax dollars, and that means more profit for the country. We would be living the good life

When you combine all of the 2007-2009 recession spending from the government, it's somewhere around $1.3 Trillion if I'm not mistaken. It might be more.
