Also would focus a lot on bolstering competitiveness by making access to training and higher education easier. We would have a focus on the fields most necessary to be competitive. Id also create a public healthcare option and overhaul the tax system for something simple and way less progressive. Id look to adopt some Scandinavian public programs like extended paternal leave etc. Taxes for most people would go up but the country would be better off overall

OUR roads? Who's roads? Come to Cali, specifically L.A. We need MAJOR work. You know how bad it is out here. They dont have enough money to actually fix the roads that need the most fixing so to keep a job what they do is repave roads that dont really need repaving. these roads are usually guess where? in good neighborhoods. and guess where the worse roads are? in poorer/bad neighborhoods.
They've been doing a ton of fwy work, fixing bridges, creating new ones, adding lanes, etc, etc. in addition to that we have a lot of other undeground pipes, and electric work that needs to be rewired and re done and shoot just upgraded. a lot of this stuff hasnt been touched in like 50 years.

3. Abolish current regulatory bodies/Create an independent regulatory body(similar to the fed reserve)
4. Reform K-12*
5. Enable an opt out from SS
6. Reform Labor Laws*
7. Patent reform
8. Institute a tightly constrained single payer healthcare system to run along side private care
9. Ending perpetual war/Trimming the defense budget
10. Abolishing the NSA/homeland security, repealing he patriot act, etc.

agreed completely. im fully against monopolies, i dont care about the ridiculous hurdles involved...if i could even get the slightest bit done about that itd be a success...
