Yahoo was extremely bad. I think because it attracted older cacs. Youtube comments aren't as bad as it used to be since the update. It now prioritizes comments with thumbs up and buries everything else.

You find the real goods when you use the "newest first" filter

They been like that slim. That's the reason why a lot of news stations disabled online comments to their stories. Any black story even if its POSITIVE will have these cacs going off.

I got into a back and forth with someone over this. They swore that new stations, Yahoo and some local newspapers shut down their comments. They came with the, well they don't like freedom of speech, and some other shyt. It was all bird babble to get around the issue. The toxicity and racism.

Don't know if any of you guys go back that far, but I stopped reading YT comments sections after the young woman posted the infamous "call the amberlamps" video.

YouTube in its beginning years was a lot worse. This was back when you could actually type N word out with the hard ‘ER’ and not have your comment deleted. That, and, you could actually post images in the comment section. White folks would constantly post racist 4cac memes and monkey images on black videos.

YouTube used to be EXTREMELY racist from 2009 to 2016. Almost every video featuring Black people back then (even the positive ones) had cacs going on a racist tirade. It got so bad that I had to stop going on there for a while. Ever since the site had that huge update in 2017 Youtube has been doing they’re best to bury and delete any openly racist comments but cacs still be on that bullshyt though and using code words like joggers to describe us and shyt.

Ofcourse cacs gon cac but nothing as wild as pre 2016 and definitely not as wild as the Yahoo comments section in 08-09
