that obama campaign/election era was when shyt got real bad. Yahoo news/answers, imdb threads, nj.com comments and msn news were all trolling breeding grounds. You only posted if were trolling. Youtube being having relatively decent convos. Plus only certain vids from certain channels be having those fukk shyt posters. I rarely entire those goofy ass comments

Yahoo was for me verifiably some kind of racist psyops campaign. I used to live on Yahoo and there was a Republican convention one week. The racist spamming completely stopped. My first thought was “oh Yahoo finally started filtering” but as soon as the convention was over the racist posters were back. It wasn't gradual either it was like a light switch.Those comments on the video are extremely tame compared to yahoo comments around 2008-09.
Also the Drudge Report used to only link to articles with comment sections so their racist right wing readers would spam the comments sections.

Those Facebook comments aided in my wake-up call. It started with the Fox News comments on any story about black people. Then you go down a rabbit hole, and can’t even look at white people the same.
