I've been using YouTube revanced type apps for 8 years and I love it. I learned about it because my mother asked me if I could find a way to make YouTube play without ads. So my baby nephew could watch Ryan & Coco Melon on YouTube without interruption. Then about 5 years ago my brother was talking about folks at the gym playing YouTube but having to keep their screen unlocked. At which point I told him I have a YouTube app that plays with the screen locked and I can skip through songs or videos. So of course I had to put him on to it. When I want to watch YouTube on a big screen I just send the screen from my phone or a tablet to one of the smart TV's.
