mostly content for me, plus having no ads on the account level is nice...pops loves it, since I set up a fam plan and loaded his acct with it

I mainly use it for content, but I'll use it for music too. Mainly video game or anime music, since Spotify has all my easy to find music. I also use it to play ambient background noise while I sleep every once in a while

I been on this life for a few years. Yeah, it's yet one more monthly fukking bill, and subscription thing to pay for. But I use youtube for music, podcasts, all types of shyt, and the benefits are worth it for me. The major thing is just playing music and podcasts and stuff with the screen locked while I'm driving, and the no adds thing. I love it. Maybe there are add-ons or extensions that would allow me to do the same thing, but fukk it.

I don't miss those pop-up adds at all. They were really starting to bombard people with them. I also like the you-tube download feature, that allows you to download videos, and watch them on the run, without needing an internet connection. Great for tablets when you're out and about, and have no data plan with the tablet, and you want to watch a long video, or a lot of videos.
I will say, if I wasn't paying for Youtube TV, I would be more open to it. The fact that its a completely separate service means they can kiss my ass while I keep my UBlock updated.
