i just tried this and it seems to work
What's so hard about them clicking skip on a phone/tablet/PC/Mac, lol? I watch a couple thousand videos per year...I usually skip ads unless I'm interested in the product/service or I if I really find the video/creator useful and let a mid roll/ending ad play out.
I've only used premium when they gave away free months with the purchase or when my backlog got too big.
But if folks not really watching "YouTubers" and just looking at music videos and stuff from major corporations they don't value the platform as a better version of public/cable access.
