why do u guys always want players to play out of their position?
RJ is not a point guard

He doesn't have to be a full on pg in the mold of CP3 or Rubio, use this tank year to see if RJ can handle an offense like Kobe; prime Grant Hill, or Wade did.

mayb we should get one
If Obi comes out the gate swinging like a young AD/healthy Zion, you need to run RJ at point and develop that dynamic he had with Zion under the rim at point then surround him with wings if Quickley is a sniper, Burk can hit perimeter shots or even Knox in his rookie year.

I think it's more about picking pieces for the plays the coach wants to create more than just getting a point guard.

I agree but his passing ability is decent enough. Essentially he can play 1-3. There's guy's in the league that make guys around them play better like LeBron and I think that's what the Knicks would want to look for and develop RJ into. (LeBron could play point) They tried it with Frank and that shyt ain't work. He's only a point. RJ showed that he can play both positions last season.

This shyt always kills me :dead:

"See what we're gonna do is play RJ at PF, he's strong for a young player but has the quickness to score at will. Knox will our SG because he can post up everyone at that position, Randle will play the point so he can bring the ball up and get it out of his hands" :krs:
