I don’t know how anyones mind can come to the conclusion other than he’s a bonafide scrub.

U can argue all day about how he’s been “mishandled” was a “ project” whatever but the on court play has been objectively terrible. I mean the stats are pretty damning and any Knicks fan longing for good guard play in the “city of guards” is disgusted by the p*ssy brand of basketball dude plays and his inability to do the basics like penetrate a defense, hit an above the break three, not telegraph pick and roll passes, and keep his fouls in check so he can at least have max value in what he’s good at, defense.

I don’t feel sorry he was an 8th pick and will have pocketed $17M here, has been paid well above his production.

It’s his last year here and he likely has no future in this organization, playing time isn’t even a guarantee next season so nikkas gasping for air at the thought of dude getting traded is just hilarious to me.

Frank was lucky in that he had zero competition at the point guard spot for 3 years now. Its been nothing but journeymen backups and draft busts and they still felt they needed to bring no shooting ass Payton back again.

Frank fans celebrate that he was slightly better than Dennis Smith having one the worst seasons for a NBA player I've seen. Nikkas think good defense and nothing else is a solid point guard in 2020
