Loving these rumors...

-Clearly Thibs isn’t particularly high on Frank he isn’t even a factor for starting PG, four NBA head coaches now and none see Frank as a starting NBA PG. His comments on Frank were pretty generic “good kid” and “defensive versatility”. Him and Randle’s interview were noticeably low energy which adds to the legs of the Hield trade...

-Going on to the Hield trade you absolutely pull the trigger. Son is one of the very best shooters in the game and is a great fit if you go R.J. point forward he is the floor spacer this team has been needing. This trade is a no brainer and I hope it happens later on in the season...

-I hope DSJ really is looking good and the shooting sessions with Abdul-Rauf paid off. Let’s not forget how naturally talented dude is and Thibs does well with the small guard whether it’s D-Rose, Nate, John Lucas, Augustin he’s a fan of them and his system puts them in good positions...

I don’t think the team is a mess these rumors make it pretty clear what’s going on behind the scenes.

Based off Randle and Ntilikina energy in their interviews which was markedly different from Toppin, Quickley, Rivers those guys were supposed to be outta here in that Hield trade.

Thibs clearly isn’t feeling Robinson’s work ethic and maturity dating back to Team USA and the rumor is he failed his conditioning test. So he may not start. We signed Noel a similar player. It makes sense. Thibs was also very generic when it came to addressing Frank and he doesn’t seem to be a candidate to start.

Like I said Thibs likes DSJ and those small points historically you can see a lineage so him competing for the starting PG spot isn’t surprising.

It all makes sense to me. Julius and Frank are trade bait. Knox is being given another year to prove himself. Toppin and Barrett are looking like they’ll be prioritized and them having impressive conditioning drills goes well with Thibs. Austin Rivers is going to be put in a position to be a veteran leader. This is how the team is molding.
