I don’t see how any can compare Cade to Luka. He’s clearly a level below. I want to see how he looks against better competition. He’s going against low tier teams right now and looks disinterested for the most part.

To be fair he's dragging his team as well. His team is worst than the shytty competition they are playing.

^Here he is at USA basketball two summers ago, his backcourt mate was Tyrese Haliburton and they were the two best guys on the team. He's a lot more engaged with this level of competition. Something to note is I think he could handle playing with another PG better than Luka. He makes a lot of quick passes here for either the hockey assist or to a cutter after Tyrese started the possession. Luka is best next to a scoring PG, Cade might be best playing around a distributor PG so he could focus on scoring.

His team is pretty much trash but he’s showing he can still win with them. I gauge talent on if you can find a way to win against amateur talent because a top NBA prospect should make their way to the NCAA tournament under any circumstances. You don’t want another Fultz who couldn’t make the tournament in a weak Pac12. Anthony Edwards could be in that conversation as someone who isn’t good enough or a leader and it showed in college when his team didn’t win.
