:stopitslime: And at the end of the day, the Note 7's with the problematic battery still account for less than 0.1 percent of the entire volume sold based on the actual Note 7's that have been found to be defective.
You can't have it both ways though. If it's only a tenth of a percent of the entire volume for this one model, how does bringing up the iPhones which have less known cases over a much larger production volume and a way longer timeframe going to help your case? This is literally two months into the Note 7 lifecycle.

Try to insult like a kid instead of make a point brehs. Probably got mad and stormed off to your room. :lolbron:

There's no fact to dispute my point, otherwise you would still be feverishly pasting articles you didn't read to debate me. :russ:

The womanlike manner you display based on your debating skills aren't an insult when it's true. :heh:

And the weak arguments you've continually presented along with the overzealous iTrolling you continue to demonstrate, I've already countered numerous times with ease. :youngsabo:

Less known is the key here, as many iPhone explosions haven't been reported in the way they have with Samsung or they've been suppressed by Apple & the media, which is readily apparent when actually reviewing the long history of Apple's hostile, defensive stance regarding their defective products.

This is one but many prime examples:

Apple will replace 'exploding' first-run iPod nanos

After instances where first-generation iPod nanos' power has triggered minor but device-killing fires, Apple has agreed to replace for free any more of the music players that suffer the same problem.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based electronics maker has released a statement to the press confirming the issue and solution while also attempting to minimize the scope of the problem.

"Apple has determined that in very rare cases, batteries in first-generation iPod nanos sold between Sept. 2005 and Dec. 2006 can overheat, causing failure and deformation of the iPod nano," the company explains. "Apple has received very few reports of such incidents (less than 0.001 percent of first-generation iPod nano units), which have been traced back to a single battery supplier. There have been no reports of serious injuries or property damage, and no reports of incidents for any other iPod nano model.

"Any first-generation iPod nano customers who have experienced their battery overheating should contact AppleCare for a replacement. Any other customers who have concerns about their first-generation iPod nano battery should also contact AppleCare."

The release comes at the end of a Japanese government investigation into reports of some original iPod nanos melting and even popping open due to excess heat, particularly when the device is plugged into a computer for recharging.

Customers from other nations also say they have witnessed their iPods' self-destruction.

While unlikely to be directly connected, the problem is reminiscent of a similar issue with Sony notebook batteries that prompted a worldwide battery recall after it was determined that a manufacturing flaw made them overly susceptible to fires; since then, Sony has toughened up its designs to prevent such incidents in the future.

It's not known if the issue extends to additional iPod nanos or other portable media players.

Gotta give it to you, you're going to go down with the ship even if Samsung doesn't :salute:

Despite the hysterical, over the top debates & the differences of opinions on this matter between everyone in this thread, it's all in good fun. Much respect! :salute:

So what? The 2 year old iPhone (funny you left that out) still blew up on a U.S flight in March of 2016 and from reports could have caused the plane to crash, yet nothing from the FAA or Apple, nor the media covering this story full scale, so you can't downplay this incident as a non factor or issue while deriding Samsung in the same breath. Furthermore, there have been numerous reports of iPhone's exploding on planes before the Note 7, while yet there has been no action whatsoever taken by airlines or governmental agencies to prohibit iPhones. So if you don't see an obvious double standard then your clearly blind & bigoted.

:camby:

Bullshyt! Out of over 2.5 million Note 7's that were sold/resold, only slightly over 100 reports of explosions have occurred. And out of the that figure, over 26 Note 7 were found to be false or fraudulent reports of real legitimate explosions caused by the batteries.

So no matter the erroneous opinion you Apple bandwagon fans share, there's no real "design flaw" with the Note 7, just the normal "random" occurrence of lithium batteries exploding that can happen with any smartphone or electronic product, particularly when we take Apple's track record into consideration, along with the excessive over-hyping of this situation by rabid iTrolls & partisan media outlets.

Don't move the goalposts. Note 7 only sold about a million in its month. 2.5 million is shipped, not sold.

900 phone you can't use on a plane and even the manufacturer don't make after only two months brehs lol. :mjlol:

Manufacturer tellin you to power down your 900 phone brehs:mjlol:

Samsung Halts Note 7 Sales; Apple Could Sell 15 Million More iPhones

Lol yeah Tim Cook laughin his ass off. Possible 15 million more iPhone sales because of the L Samsung taking right now.

Sorry, you're too dumb to comprehend that Analysts estimates don't equate to facts! :pachaha:

So you can take Tim Cook's dikk out of your jaws & wash your mouth! The only thing that's funny is Apple's 200 billion dollar loss for 2016 which they still haven't regained in the stock market! :jawalrus:

:usure: ibytch?

You keep taking L's by the minute with all of your incorrect bullshyt! :heh:

The "1 million a month" nonsense that you keep mentioning in every comical troll post you make is based on U.S. sales ONLY. The 2.5 million total Samsung SOLD was worldwide. So once AGAIN the bullshyt you've been spouting is completely erroneous!

Samsung is recalling millions of new Galaxy Note 7 smartphones worldwide after reports that the devices can catch fire while charging.
The massive recall of one of Samsung's flagship devices is an embarrassing setback for the world's biggest selling smartphone maker. The Note 7 was unveiled just a month ago, and big rival Apple (AAPL, Tech30) is expected to show off its new smartphone next week.

Samsung (SSNLF) said Friday it had found a problem with the battery in some of the phones and was halting sales in 10 countries, including South Korea and the U.S. It will offer customers a new product for free in the coming weeks to replace the 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7s that have been sold.

You mean to tell me iTroll that your dumb ass didn't know that the Note series is a specialty model & was never Samsung's volume Galaxy seller & sold around 1.5 million a month on average prior to the Note 7?

And if they do, it still won't do anything to help Apple regain that 200 Billion market loss though! :pachaha:
