Except the wealth gap is now larger between whites and blacks than it was 40 years ago. The black family is a lot more unstable now than it was 40 years. The "illusion of inclusion" is a myth that c00ns like you are still falling for 40+ years later. Jim Crow hasn't gone anywhere. Now, the black family structure is completely fractured, self hate is at an all time high, and we're more divided than ever before. You dumb ass "government is the only answer" clowns have already been proven wrong.
It's 2017 and it's waaaay past excusable to still be believing in that MLK dream. Even MLK was starting to wake up before he was killed. I know that you want to believe in the day that whites will magically see the error of their ways, stop being racist, and use their government to stop oppressing blacks while undoing what they have deliberately done to oppress us for the last 240 years(500 total), but it's never going to happen. It's not about giving up or stop believing in freedom. It's about being honest and accepting the harsh reality so that we can come up with real solutions to obtain freedom. Begging the people and their government to undo what they've deliberately done and continue to do isn't a real solution.
