Exactly. THEY put us in a good light. We supported them. We didn't put us in a good light, supported us, and had everyone else deal with the truth through their wallets. That's the difference. We're not controlling the narrative.
we are controlling the narrative, blacks made a lot of money from this too, a lot of the green screen scenes was shot in tyler perry's studio in atlanta which is not cheap.
the nigerian movie industry even made a flick called wakanda land or something after that box office record shyt trying to benefit off the success.

Basically, Nigeria couldn't come up with that idea on their own. They're just riding on someone else's coattails and trying to eat off their plate. But I'm not mad. Make that money.
The problem is that we are already at the top. We have all the means to make a movie like that. We have had all the opportunities to make a movie like that. Unfortunately, some of us have allowed themselves to believe that unless one of these major companies, that it can't be done. It's that type of thinking that prevents it to be ours.

What does that have to do with her still being half Eritrean though? She went back to the motherland, met her relatives there and was welcomed with open arms. And Tiffany regularly shows love to her AA side. It's literally bytching about nothing.
