Jordan Adams was better than him though.
And yet, NBA scouts view LaVine as the better prospect.
Which is problem #1. He's useless for the next year or two at the very least. In these 2 years, they could lose everything. All that could be left is Dieng and LaVine, and then what's it gonna matter what he does? If you're trying to make the playoffs next year and you drafted someone to NOT help you do that, then you did nothing to improve your team for next season. It's like "don't even bring up his name til he's ready to play basketball since he does nothing for them now" What good is his potential gonna be in 4 years time when he's gonna wanna get paid and move on somewhere else since nobody else of worth would be here.
You're not making the playoffs next season manito, they took him because at 13 there was nobody else with his potential, he legitimately has the type of talent that could make him a superstar in a few years. He's the swing for the fences type of player, and I do think he will turn into something when Love leaves. There's a decent chance you're going to end up with Wiggins, you've been on your old school doom and gloom posting

but I think your squad will be better in 2-3 years in large part because of LaVine and possibly Wiggins.
MKG's calling card was his defense. LaVine's calling card is jumping really high by himself in local gyms and dunking.
When it came time to produce and put in work, MKG did it. LaVine bytched up and did nothing. Him bricking shot after shot is not on the coach.
MKG was unskilled and his numbers weren't that great, you asked what wings put up numbers like LaVine, MKG's werent much better and he went 2nd, if they redrafted he'd probably go 7 or 8. LaVine was drafted based on potential, there are very few wing players on his level athletically that can shoot, and even less than can dribble

If he puts it together he's going to be a stud.
