Am I wrong to think Wiggins doesn't really benefit off playing next to Lavine even though he's had a really good season. Feels like the games Zach is out he looks a lot better.

breh, it's been a 2 game sample. one against the lowly lakers, and one against the rockets last nite in which capela and gordon were out. he definitely benefits as lavine is a huge floor spacer for him making his drives easier. wiggins looks worse next to bazz than lavine does for this reason. where he benefits w/ zach out is that he just get to take more shots along with KAT and bjelica) that zach ordinarily would take. i'd like to see a game in which lavine is the primary scorer/given the same green light with wiggins out and see what happens. defensively is where they both suck although i see flashes of lockdown D from both of them.

I think they need to stagger them a bit more. Probably play Wiggins more with Rush and Lavine with Bazz as he can create for Bazz.

if lavine was allowed the same usgae that wiggins' is allowed with the starting unit, he would blow wiggins numbers away. even currently, his overall numbers for the season are still markedly more efficient than wiggins'. wiggins is not having a better year than him, especially when it comes to expectations. lavine has been better and much more consistent. look at their numbers in wins and losses, PER, etc.

People like you disgust me. What would you do if analytics didn't exist?

Watch the games fakkits.

They're being asked to do different things. Wiggins is being asked to score from isolation one on one and post situations. Lavine is being asked to space the court and be more of a catch and shoot player. Neither are being asked to do much in the way of playmaking. Thats Rubio and Towns when they throw it to him the post.

There is more to basketball than a statistic made up by that fat fukk John Hollinger.

Zach LaVine: 17.3 ppg, 43% fg, 3.7 reb, 3.1 ASt, all in 35mpg

Andrew Wiggins: 23ppg, 47%fg, 4 reb, 2.1 ast, all in 36 mpg

why this forum always bytch about why Zach LaVine being such a better player over a 2 or
3 game period but when Andrew is playing noticeable better over the last 10 games and is having a better year in general, yall just hide in the bushes like in those Homer Simpson memes :mjlol:

only casuals think lavine and towns are better than wiggins

Wiggins is BY FAR the best player on that timberwolves team. The only thing he is missing from his game right now, is the mental edge and being a vocal leader on the court.

He will be the second best player in the nba in the 2 or 3 years.

When Andrew Wiggins hits his prime, we will see one of the most dominant wing players ever.

The majority of his isolation clips in the highlight he was being guarded by Ariza a 3. This tells me nothing about the benefits of him playing the 2. He's being guarded by who ever the best perimeter defender is regardless of position :why:

Because Wiggins is a better 2 right now than he is a 3 but he has to play the 3 with Lavine out there. Wiggins would have better statistics if he was allowed to play his proper position, but no one wants to hear that.
