It's a little different because the the NFL basically told itself the evidence is shotty and inconsistent and recommended no suspension. Goodell did it anyway, which any court would see as peculiar at best and biased at worst.

It's pretty clear what Goodell is doing. It's to put the NFL in a positive light/ protect the shield and use the first person that they could make an example of .. Like Bountygate with a team that supposedly put bounty on injuring opposing players when they was dead last in such thing. They were trying to make themselves look good with the CTE case looking. They trying to recoup their image with women after they blatantly covered up the Ray Rice Video.

It's not biased, it's the just the facts of the situation. Witness testimony, insight from responding police officers, basically all the stuff the NFL omitted.

The facts are we don't know the full rationale behind the decision but if they stand behind it when they had an opportunity to clear it up, then they must feel confident in their position to follow through on the suspension. Their lawyers were aware this would go to federal court as all their big cases do. Nothing surprising here. He will serve the suspension next season at the latest.

Did you not read the NFL statement? They laid out the rationale for their decision. Read the post above you for why the league is going this route. If you're going to conduct a truly fair investigation you have to be willing to live with what the facts of the case dictate, even if it doesn't back what you want. In this case they wanted Zeke to be guilty of a crime and thought they could work backwards to prove it. This was a witch hunt that's going to bite them in the ass, the NFL is going to lose to in the courts bookmark this.

He didn't pay her to keep quiet, he knew her and they were fukking so there was no harm done.

Whether if Zeke actually did it. There is no way to reasonably and fairly to prove he did such domestic assault with so many contradictory stories with the assailant. It sets a bad precedent to even suspend him. If you can't reasonably prove that Zeke did anything. NFL was just protecting their image and suspended him cause of it. NFL blatantly covered up Ray Rice when they had his tape.So, why trust the NFL and Godell in doing their due diligence in this case when they ignore their lead investigator? It's all about politics, NFL bullying, and image protection. NFL spent millions slandering the doctor that discovered CTE. WHY people going to defend them? THey are basically a legal mafia.
