The slippery slope argument your making in this thread is weak…there’s no way Russia comes out of this conflict in a position to begin another… especially with a NATO member.


We were going to aid Ukraine no matter what and in doing so we’ve created a situation with no off ramps for anyone involved.
We are looking at either a North/South Korea lasting standoff or the use of nukes.

I'm replying to a guy who said russia invading former soviet states is no biggie... do you know how many former soviet states are NATO members?

Energy supply in Europe
Amount of grains that would fall under the hands (yes that’sa valuable commodity) of a dictator
Russia being right next to Poland and the Baltic states

Obviously it won’t affect the daily life of the American people right away. But if you think that the power balance of Europe don’t impact US you’re a complete idiot. Stronger Russia means a weaker west, and that will definitely mean more chaos.
