i dont even understand why people cant understand simple football 101.

nobody asking seattle to stop doing something htat works...my point is that sherman cant claim to be the best if he facing the 4wr for 90% of the game...what kind of shyt is that? Thats like Paul George saying I can beat every point guard in one on one. WELL NO shyt nikka YOU GOT 8inches on all of em :stopitslime:

You could look at it that way, or you could realize that a coach is choosing to limit his whole offense to only throwing to one side of the field and into double coverage the whole game. Forcing the QB to throw across his body and to his weak side. Seattle can also design pressure to take advantage of a team choosing to limit themselves in that way. So you gonna let 1 player dictate that much of your game plan? You can't even use your best receiver as a decoy to set up something big on the other side of the field. shyt is a total concession on the offenses part.

Now considering all of that, how is it advantageous to an offense to limit themselves in that way? Is your #1 receiver out there beasting against double coverage? Probably not.

Again, how you gonna let 1 football player dictate that much of your offense?

What are you talking about. This is exactly what those coaches ARE DOING:stopitslime:. I didn't say its the magic formula to beat the seahawks. They have great defensive TEAM.

The strategy I talked about isn't me trying front like I'm smarter than any professional football coach. Its just simply the most logical thing to from a football perspective against that type scheme(from a personell point of view).
coaches arent really doing that though. they shuffle the WRs because doing what you said they should do doesnt yield any better results

shuffling recievers where. And greenbay did this exact same thing last night.

Its right thing to do even if you dont beat seattle. Fact is Seattle as a defense is just really good. Doesnt mean the strategy is wrong.

earl thomas is not underrated, ya'll need to stop saying that shyt

This. Idk where these dudes getting that from. Every time the Seahawks are mentioned earls name comes up as either one of the best on that team or the best period.

I'm almost absolutely sure that even though Sherm isn't the best CB in the game he's the most "effective". Dude done put his mark on the league and on opposing offenses. Not only does he have good numbers, he's shown he can show up in the big games in the big moments.

Couple that with the trash talk and you have a CB that most offenses don't even really want to deal with. Its not about him covering your best wide out....it's about him disrupting your entire offence with that riff-raff and making players say/do stupid shyt or play outside of themselves to prove a point i.e. Kap/Crabtree

My dude. Wtf does that even mean.

While I am sure that cinnamon toast crunch isn't the best cereal, it is the most tasty:what:

Breh most teams dont even have 2 top flight recievers to do that even if they wanted too. Again I not saying he never sees good wrs but for someone who claims to be the best he doesnt defend the number 1's enough to make that claim. And the reason for this is the way seattle uses him. Which logically offenses will then put thier best on the other side

thats kind of the point tho, do they ever give up 200 to any 1 WR? nope, all Nelson did tonight was catch some hooks and screens

if the scheme works, why change it? the guy only got thrown at 4 times a game last year (58 total) and picked 8 of those off. hes doing something right
But is that Sherman stopping him?

ATL…overly
This is bull crap about him not covering the best. He shut down roddy and julio in the play offs a couple years back that td that people thought he gave up to roddy was on kam. Blame the game plan defenses run to try to discredit sherm even though he has proven other wise.

Breh Sherman ain't shut down shyt. The Falcons strategy was to go at Sherman and they did, Roddy & Julio beat Sherman on numerous occasions in that game, it wasn't just the TD Roddy scored over the top.

If you've got a gameplan & QB who isn't afraid to take chances you can beat SEA's defense. We did it in the playoffs a few years ago & it can happen again
