Completely different market and circumstances. There isn’t a wave of foreclosures coming. And this Zillow situation isn’t nearly enough homes to balance the market out.

Oh I know it’s apples to oranges I’m just saying weird shyt happens that depresses the market where I live whenever we enter the market.

Zillow isn’t buying trash houses here in the H :usure:

So if just a single one of these shakes loose For where/what price im looking at buying then I won. They are offloading at 63% all losses! Fkn crazy.

I hear what you are saying, but here is the thing - if one of those homes shakes loose in your price point, you have to know that there will be 100 other buyers jumping on it.

The fact is that this Zillow issue doesn’t do anything to curve the disparity between the number of buyers and the amount of homes for sale. So that one home you may be waiting in is going to get swamped within the first hour of being on the market.

And in that case, good luck to all of the financing buyers. The hedge funds will jump the line with quick close cash deals above the list price.

I definitely hope it works out for you, but the odds aren’t in your favor at the moment.

Don’t know. I suspect it’s cheaper building right now because wood prices normalized. Housing prices will probably take a year or 2 for builders to catch up and stabilize.

I will say I’ve seen local prices dropping consistently but still are high. IMO the unknown forces propping up this shame economy are going to be exhausted sometime during the Biden admin so I still see a housing market collapse.

Prices aren't going anywhere tho for you waiting on a dip. The current prices are the new norm.

Zillow wouldn't be offloading these properties en masse if that were the case. Prices will correct in many if not most areas.

People are quitting their jobs in record numbers, inflation is shooting through the roof and yet somehow people are buying homes like crazy. I'd love to know how.

- Families combining incomes to purchase a house.
- Married Couples
- Remote working with a good salary
- Side hustles
- Low mortgage rates

There are always ways to make it happen for yourself when determined.

In Florida my realtor told me we're being swamped with transplants from the west coast and NE where they made more money and are coming down here with BREAD to buy cash...over asking price.
