It seems like me and my wife enter the market at just the right team, we got our foreclosure during the crash of 09, we are about to enter the market again here in a few months. :win:

Completely different market and circumstances. There isn’t a wave of foreclosures coming. And this Zillow situation isn’t nearly enough homes to balance the market out.

Good look with your home search when you jump into the market

Nobody is buying houses cash. It's big business buying these houses and they about to get fukked.
Not really

Big businesses play the long game with real estate. They can afford to buy and hold on to properties. They hire property managers. Zillow isn't set up like that. They need to stick to collecting and reporting data.

Who do y’all think is really gonna benefit from Zillow unloading all those properties?

when Zillow sells those homes, cash buyers are going right to the top. The faster they can get rid of these properties the better. They already not gonna make their money back.

Glad to see people in here making sense. The prices in the housing market aren't going down in desirable locations. If prices are going down where you live then that should be an indicator of what's to come for that area. You don't want to live somewhere where people don't want to pay to live (i.e. parts of Detroit).

The era of the average man making a quick comeup off of foreclosures is over. Best bet to find a growing area with reasonable prices (i.e. Tucker, GA), plant your roots, and sell at a later point.

The true quandary is that people who can sell and live in these highly desirable locations are going to get hit by the inflation wherever they try to move next.

This is not a sign on the bubble bursting at all.

The problem is that they don't have the labor to fix up the houses. It's not a big deal, they just have to be more discerning on the houses they buy in the future.
