Yea this is going too far. This is the slippery slope owners were afraid of. No 2nd or 3rd year player should be forcing their way off the team. That's just ridiculous. What's the point of the draft if a team.isnt gonna have a reasonable time (5-6 years) to build a core.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Some people like myself believe that Silver handed Zion to the Pelicans for losing AD to the Lakers. Exactly how they got gifted AD for losing CP3.

Why do teams tank if this is true? It would seem they should be trying to give Adam other “favors” if he’s controlling their assignment in the “lottery”?

It's understandable, it looks like nola doesn't know what they're doing

Once again family sticking they nose into a business they have no say in

but that’s the problem once the league started pandering to LeBron and from now on, you going to see dads, moms, uncles and brothers asking teams for a cut so they son will stay

Interesting. The family want to maximize his earning potential/brand ASAP. I wonder if they low key feel it's better to cash in now while he's still at the potential stage in case he doesn't pan out/injuries hamper his career later on.
How are they trying to maximize when he turned down more money from other shoe companies to get $75 million from Jordan?

This should be a non issue.. the pelicans have the rights to him for years. Let him be mad.
They've gotta break that cycle. Getting the first pick to babysit them until their contract just to get the first pick to babysit them until their contract is up can't be the way. It's the treadmill and now is the time to get off it not when the contract is up

No NBA superstar wants to live in New Orleans. It’s not a basketball city and it’s a small market. If fatass Zion who’s as low key as it gets doesn’t want to live in a city with some of the best food then they are hopeless

Nah, bruh. These kids just want to go to Hollywood or NYC. Its nothing more to it. Especially Zion who is just a 20 yo kid. He's no different than college kids wanting to go to college in a big city. If players can be happy in Atlanta, Oakland, Milwaukee, Dallas or Houston, then how is New Orleans not good enough? Its a poppin city.

Unless they fear he is going to be an eight year player, they need to shut the fukk up until it's time for him to go.

Just read the whole article...

  • Zion family didn't like SVG...they fired him
  • Zion apparently didn't like JJ situation..no proof or context provided
  • Nothing about his family wanting him moved
  • Zion want to play w BI and Zo...JJ is an aging vet...just resign Zo and let Hart walk
  • Fred Vinston is prolly the next coach cuz they like him.

Y'all spitting bullshyt in this thread
