Zion to miss opening week of NBA season and probably more with knee injury; "not severe" though

Ol 4-and-hoed outta the playoffs 3 years in a row asses. :mjlol::umad:

Bet your FO would dump your whole bum ass team and those midget guards you've been resting your sad pathetic hopes on for the past 6 years for the chance to build around a real generational talent like Zion. But then they'd just surround him with scrubs like fatass Whiteside and muppet ass coaches like that turtle faced choking cac Stotts and he'd be the latest casualty to be swept outta the playoffs year after year so thank god that ain't happening. I almost feel sorry for Dame; he gonna be subject to perennial humiliation for every year he's committed to your gentrified :trash: ass excuse for a city and franchise and he'll be nothing but an afterthought in the history books when all is said and done because of it. At least there'll always be all the good memories of him and his teams valiant struggles in all those annual losses to remember...

:what: :picard: Aye.

The problem with Zion is that he’s a basketball player in a football players body. He’s just a naturally big guy that’s pretty lean even at 300lbs. Therefore, I’m not sure how low he can realistically get to. However, he’s a professional athlete, so they should be able to figure it out.

remember when Kobe post shaq put that extra muscle on and he was noticeably bigger up top. i said then, that dude will cause himself knee problems. he gotta cut that back down. he was killing dudes with the extra size but it did make him noticeably slower. he cut that weight downt he following year due to a desire for more quickness

'06-'07 season. He was much bigger mass wise but yeah, he was definitely slower. His post play was as good as it ever was during his entire career, though. He dropped 20 pounds for FIBA in the summer of '07 and looked like a different person. Was much quicker that season and his game with the style he played benefited more from him being lean vs top heavy.

On topic, Zion should absolutely be dropping weight for the longhaul, though. Regardless of how we slice it, this isn't a good sign going forward.

Well, if this turned into an epic troll job by the Pelicans.

Zion - DNP Knee Soreness

Media: What's going on?

Pelicans FO: OH, he'll be out a few weeks give or take. Nothing serious. He isn't dead or anything. We have no idea what's going on. We get back to it on Monday. Lol, bye.

Pelicans fans: *Internally panicing*

A MCL strain is a 2 week injury and that's at absolute worse. We ready seen Zion jumping and running wit no problem and this is with the strain. He will probably be back by game 3 or 4
