He most likely is 100%, but he isn't running a campaign as a lunch pale socialist everyday new yorker, we are just the same type shyt either. Don't really care for Cuomo but he got the majority black vote and Zhoran got the liberal white vote.

AOC could run this campaign and be authentic but not a guy who went to an expense ass private school.

AOC is lucky tbh. Shes a fraud too. She didnt jump all the way out the window like what mamdani is doing. She played her role wisely and survived nancy pelosi. Annoying af but at this rate, she has a shot at being at the white house if she plays her cards correctly. I would never vote for her though.

This literally never happens. Anywhere. Ever.

[Quoted tweet]
18-24 year olds were the LARGEST group in the NYC Mayoral Primary, followed by 25-29 year olds, followed by 30-34 year olds

This rarely happens if ever

It happens when a generation plagues the next with debt.

Been a hot couple decades since the numbers aligned here.

So you're telling me, that an Indian, living in South Africa, post apartheid, under a government ran by the majority Black ANC, benefitted from a system of racial discrimination that wasn't being practiced anymore and hadn't been since 1994 when Mandela became President? What the fukk are you talking about?
Indian living in South Africa probably lived much better than the black people in South Africa. Ghandi thought Indians were better than blacks lol.bAlso white people still controlled the majority of the money in the country at the time at a much greater rate than now.

The fact that he left because of a disagreement that about how racism and colonial affects Africa tells you alot about the people in charge of UCT at the time.

Don't disagree. But her upbringing and the way she lived in NYC has more in common with this guy. It's wild how he has gotten this far without being called out.

That's bullshyt. Your ambitions, drive, talents, successes, etc should allow you to make as much money as possible.
What I don’t like about the anti-billionaire existence rethoric is that the left never tells the other side of the same coin. An entrepreneur that takes risk to create a company, expands and creates jobs, creates a lot of value that is rewarded by the market(each market participant uses a criteria based off self-interest). At IPO Google in 2004 add ~3000 employees, today 180 000 employees. How come Zohran doesn’t also say “Google should have stayed at 3K employees, creating more jobs will enrich the founders, we should have less jobs creation”. Obviously that doesn’t sell, so he only speaks of one side of the coin.

However I am for heavy taxation on inheritance wealth.

While fundamentally I see what you're saying, but the idea that the speculative market (which is filled with people from inherited wealth) pumps capital into stocks and essentially circulates that same wealth in very small circles.
Making millions I think is perfectly fine. But once you start sliding into Billions, I think you're now in the labor/capital exploitation game.

Out of everyone I'd say people like Jobs, Bezos and Zuckerberg actually made their billions the "right" way. Innovation, smart purchases, good consumer research and the such. But even in the case of Bezos, he now employs basically slaves from a wage point of view. He could easily create an entire state of wealth BY HIMSELF. But nope....just for me.

Either invest the money into housing, businesses, etc. Something productive for the city or get that income taxed. No one should just be sitting on a billion dollars.
Most billionaires have their net worth tied to shares in companies. I don’t think their money is sitting in a bank. Inflation will eat that out.

I think the dude may actually care honestly and want to do the right thing but the thing is to me he is acting like he is everyman and just a normal New Yorker and he isn't. His family benefited directly from British Colonialism in Uganda in and Apartheid in South Africa. His dad benefited from white supremacy even though he was an activist.

The guy grew up in a super expensive private school and lived in rich neighborhoods. But now he is the everyman eating with his hands. He is so privileged he could never really understand what it really means to be an average New Yorker. He just comes off as inauthentic. And it will be virtually impossible for a mayor to implement all that shyt he is proposing without the backing of some rich people.
.... Upper West Side private school with the bros . . . . .. never stepped one foot in a real NY space . . ..

He actually went to public school. Graduated from Bronx Science.

Stop spreading misinformation. lol
