The same folks using subreddits of Bushwick and BedStuy as a community communication center. Ive seen folks literally making posts complaining about firecrackers and noise in a crowded overpopulated part of the city. too many idiots living in their own world away from reality basically being grouped together. Even to this day, I never understood the method of being greedy AF concerning finances. I always wanted to be a thousandnaire tops. Too high to get EBT but too low to pay taxes. Just about right.Maybe I'm cut from a different breed, but the idea of being a billionaire is lunacy because you can't take the funds with you to the grave. You either build up a foundation which the elites are too selfish to do, or be miserable and lost with the 1 percent.

Breh that's another thing I have gripes with concerning folks like that. You have figures that come from backgrounds of wealth and fortune, but on some John Lennon "Imagine" shyt. Yet, if they were cast down from the 1 percent and have to make Uber runs or work at Goodwill, they would unalive themselves expeditiously.
Why it can't be the ones that are ten toes in the ruins, that end up having some luck to be able to live comfortably, while going against the machine?

I'm beginning to realize a lot of people don't realize how much money 1 billion dollars really is. If you capped wealth at 999,999,999 none these billionaires lives would be affected in any meaningful way and they still have generational wealth and immense influence.
It's crazy for most of us on this site who in all honesty even if you make 6 figures, are a few missed mortgage payments or rent checks away from being homeless and getting your cars repossessed.
We live in a country where the middle and working classes take on all the tax burden but we have been indoctrinated by the idea that capitalism will reward me if I work hard and tie my bootstraps extra tight when many of us have worn out soles on the bottoms of these boots and there are an increasing number of people with no shoes at all.
Zohran Mamdani is addressing inequality at its roots. We are entering a pivotal point in American history right now. Will his solution be perfect of course not but let's not act like we the system we are are in is not in dire need of changing right now.
