Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
not that I'll let your opinions affect mine.... but as far as top10 draft picks go, Markkanen seems to be the most hated pick so far.. (obviously because of Jimmy trade).... not sure if I have seen your opinions on him yet :jbhmm: but I'd like to hear your thoughts @Malta & @Gil Scott-Heroin ... :jbhmm: on Markkanen & him being part of the Bulls:patrice: Because I don't see another Mirotic/Channing Frye, I see a Porzingis without defensive reach/potential, but with better agility:jbhmm:

I think he can be part of their long term plans, but he's definitely not Kristaps on offense, a part of the big appeal of Kristaps is how well he can handle the ball and there are flashes how post moves, the issue is he's not strong enough to utilize his post game yet. But you see all sorts of flashes from Kristaps with a much wider offensive range than Lauri has shown.

I think he can round out his game, but he's really just a spot up shooter, basically a taller Ryan Anderson which does have a lot of value if he can bulk up to at least center size.

I don't think you'll ever see this kind of stuff from Markkannen.

Dude is a transition nightmare, he's going to get so many dimes just pushing the ball on the break and he'll get tons of opportunities to do that given his rebounding. He's a generational passer, silly argument honestly.
You're stating the obvious - nobody is arguing against this. Just arguing against the notion he's a "lock" or any such phrasing to win ROY.

Lock is obviously silly, but I do think Simmons should be the favorite. People were raving about this kid coming out last year and would have been a lock at #1 this year :manny:

As long as he puts up numbers and doesn't shoot like bricky scrubio he should get it. I can't imagine a scenario that if both are healthy that Fultz has a better rookie campaign than he does.

So if we are rolling with the narrative that they will take votes for each other then I can't see any other scenario in where Lonzo does not win because I do see a big jump in the wins department for them.

I'm obviously in hype mode right now, but the 76ers should get into the playoffs if the medical staff shows up this season :ehh:

status.

I mean he's got a decent foundational skillset, and his shooting ability should translate over (one of, if not the best shooting big man in recent memory); the question is, does he have enough offensive ability to make up for his lack of defense? The floor is real because of that.

:mjlol:It's not that simple and if Simmons is healthy and is as good as they say I got him as the lock

It is that simple...he plays in a bigger market and he will be the best player on his team

Ben ain't as transcendent as Process

Was watching this Smith workout... And realized as a washed nikka this would be way more fun doing this than actually playing a game :russ:

Magic and Walton are going to give Lonzo the keys early in his career. With Ingram , Randle, Lance, and Clarkson ; Lonzo will have a lot of opportunities to help improve the Lakers.
