More work knocked out. Got the red camaro pulled down and removed the K Member and rear end. Also took the bumper and fenders off for my sister's camaro. Got the engine bay degreased and cleaned everything real good before I install anything. Gonna paint the engine bay to make this shyt official. It was a very productive weekend working on Ghost I must say. Still got a lot of work to do but the hard shyt is out of the way. Soon I'll hear this beast wake up soon

Been really busy since thanksgiving but did get some work done today and will be on it until around Christmas. Hopefully I can get this done by the end of the year but it's looking unlikely. Rather do everything right instead of rushing it. Still I want to get this shyt done before my bday:sadcam:

Anyways.......I already painted the engine bay but I had a few fish eyes and paint runs I wanted to sand out. Then my homies clear coated it and that shyt came out lovely:wow: Pics don't do it justice. We also got primed the oil pump to get her ready for start-up. Next week she should be mounted on the K member. Slight chance I can turn it over :noah:

Me and my homeboy put in some fkn work today brehs. Installed new engine mounts because the originals on the frame were shot. Installed my clutch set and mounted the engine to the frame finally:blessed:

Unfortunately I didn't get to start it. I ran into a snag when we were installing the transmission. GM for some dumb ass reason actually used Ford's T5 transmission from their Mustangs which had us like:ohhh:
I bought a V8 bellhousing to match but I need a special adapter plate in order for the bolt holes to line up:martin:
So we did what wecould and pushed the start up back to next weekend:to:

But that shyt looks good and I'm so close

It's been a busy year so far for the kid. The whip is still coming along after a few setbacks. The pressure plate I had didn't bolt up correctly:martin:
So after researching for a couple of days I found out the pressure plate from a 87 Corvette works with my flywheel perfectly. Then I found out the starter I had wasn't strong enough to turn my engine because of the high compression:martin:
So I had to get a big ass MSD starter. Then I found out we had the damn spark plug wires in the wrong firing order and had to fix that:martin:
Then the snow storm hit and I couldn't work on the whip for two weeks:martin:

Me and my homie worked all night this weekend and finally got it to start and run and it is fukking nasty:ooh:. The videos don't do it justice. It's so fukking loud and powerful:whoo:

I installed two polyurethane engine mounts (I left the other two mounts as OEM rubber engine mounts) on a 2 liter Mazda, it vibrated everything while at low RPMs: cup holders, rear-view mirrors, door panels, steering wheel... everything.

Yeah I heard that as well but it was a cost cutting idea basically. The stock mounts are high as fukk
