This is definitely not the best example in a thread like this, but 2015 has been the opposite of a boring year for hip hop, and if I was not on a mobile device, I could link you to so many songs that are the opposite of boring that came out this year.

As far as kid goes, he has skills, but I wouldn't listen to an album that stays in that old school era sound pool and truly enjoy it.

Cold facts. No hate but this guy is just not that nice in my book. Great flow but what else? Has potential though.

Nice mixtape. Out of all of the comparisons I think the sound, style and witty lyrics remind me of MF Doom. Young homie will kill a Dangermouse/Pete Rock/Premier/Alchemist type beat. Wonder how versatile he is? The one thing that distinguished Biggie is that could battle, freestyle, do pop, reggae, club hits...anything. Wish he would put more of that Southern California sound into it too instead of East Coast/NY.
