I'm withholding judgment on Newton until I see him play this season, but I'll say without reservation that the Panthers must qualify for the playoffs this season.

Funchess has been somebody I've been keeping an eye on for the last year and I just feel like he is going to just be looked at as an absolute steal come 2-3 years down the line.

Top 5-10 at WORST. Matt statistically is a top 5 QB and has been for a few years now. Nobody in their right mind would say Scam is at that level or even a consistent top 15 QB. And yea we already know he can run, he still hasn't proven to be a consistently good NFL passing QB

You're talking stats! look at Cam overall game. Ryan a better thrower for sure but they're tons of categories Cam fits that Ryan will never be apart of. Cam + intangibles > Ryan just throwing the ball.

I'm lookin at his overall game breh. He's overrated as fukk...inaccurate, spoiled, immature, if he's not running and has to pass, y'all are fukked. I'm sure @Consumed has some stats from the summer of 2007 when Cam was in high school to prove how great of a passer he is but in the real world he's mediocre as fukk. Not sure why or how this is a debate and he's not seeing Matt in anything unless it's running the ball & being a better athlete

Ahh so Scam being a mediocre QB is getting to you now too? You really proud of being an under .500 division winner just to protect your beloved Scam? And even when Scam set rookie records that have already been broken did you or anyone with half a brain sit back and think, wow this guy is a really good quarterback? Let's not forget that a bunch of Scam's passing yards came from playing catchup against prevent defenses because y'all started the seasons off terribly his first couple seasons. Even with better win loss records the past couple seasons he's not a better QB (footwork, accuracy, decision making), even a crazed stan like you can see this

I'm sure @Consumed has got some Pop Warner footage of Scam making some throws to argue, but otherwise you still I'm right again

Its a good argument Cam has won at pretty much every level of football he has played in. And @Consumed is the new breh on the block he don't know there is no point of trying to convince you on how average your qb is I would rather we both label our qb's as "mediocre" before you come in our offseason thread saying your qb is 100% better than ours
