The point is, having minimal measures in place does not mean that something is adequate. Addressing something and addressing it sufficiently are two different things. Furthermore, we do not have universal gun control laws. Those variances between states are the cause of many of these problems. For example, we no longer have an assault rifle ban. What did these guys just use exactly? Go sit down.

Oh right because an AR ban would wouldn't kept ARs out of shooters hands...

Illinois has some of the strictest gun laws in country and guess what? We have the most access to guns in the country. It's illegal for felons to be in a house, car etc... with a firearm, let alone posses one and guess what felons have an easier access to weapons than the average citizen.

The average cat out here can make a few calls and have a burner within a hour.

Look at how the past 15 have been since the new millenium started..this is probably not a future that most of us were expecting back then. This society as it is, is just not meant to sustain itself at this rate.

It's not a federal crime to have unregistered firearms. In GA I can buy an AR15, Mossberg shotgun, 5 hand guns, and 3000 rounds of ammo and never have to show any ID and be 100% legal
