I know how to do it. I've done it before. If I had to I'd do it again and if I don't have to I'll let roadside assistance handle it.

Simple repair/maintenence should be a requirement getting your licence.. change tire, check fluid levels , check tire pressure.. simple shyt like that...

I don't think this is something to brag about knowing how to do. shyt is too simple and that's something some people don't want to deal with hence all that triple A and other stuff to take care of those things

This too. Modern tires are pretty damn good. I changed the headlights (like the whole assembly, not the bulb) and the radio on my last car and do all my oil changes and shyt. But my thing now is I value my time over my money. Working on a car is a PITA in a 3 story walk up apartment.
