Any money or resources they get will only go to the elite and help their kids live in Europe, Canada and the US. This whole thing is a scam for them.

Since when did they care about slaves and reparations? They still send their people off to be slaves in the middle east or for north Africans and they don't do anything to get them back or help.

The international community is about to make a fool out of those people on the global stage as soon as they point this out, and then point out who was specifically complicit over in Africa during the transatlantic slave trade, because I promise you white folks have those records. It’s going to backfire on them in the worst way.

That’s why we need to be pushing delineation as hard and quickly as possible. We don’t want those people speaking for us on anything, but especially something like this.

And if you’re Jamaican, Haitian, etc, you should be looking to represent yourselves as well. Maybe you’ll combine efforts among Caribbean nations, but you definitely don’t want any African nation “taking the lead” and representing you either.

The problem is I could see the west giving some African led coalition a sizable “reparations” settlement along with some formal apology, and then saying they’ve done their part to make amends and are now washing their hands of the “slavery” matter and looking to move forward.

Now if such a thing did happen, would you trust the Africans to do the right thing?

If you look at the timeline for reparations discussions, you will see that our people were the first to discuss it by a longshot. Even when it became a big discussion again in 2020, others followed along 2 to 3 years later. So yea, you are literally right about this.

No, the US is the Devil, the rest of them are just easily influenced and selfish humans. Instead, I rather strong willed humans who have centuries of experience fighting the Devil to take the lead on the issue of Reparations for Black Americans. (i.e. Black Americans can fight for ourselves.)
