We gonna be ballin this year....
All we did was replace Incognito and Clabo thus far. And honestly, I doubt the guard we signed is half as good as Incognito or Martin

I was really hoping those rookie CBs we drafted would be ready this year but doesn't seem like the coaching staff has confidence in them
The staff has confidence in Jamar Taylor, they're just trying to light a fire under his azz which is why they signed Finnegan. Remember Taylor was fighting a sports hernia and Will Davis was a raw CB that was projected to go in the 4th-5th(we traded up for him in the 3rd :what:) so them boys weren't going to start without another veteran there to battle them in training camp.

Is this Shelley Smith dude legit? Starting material or ...?
Everybody says that he's a great run blocker but average pass. He was playing in a power-blocking scheme that doesn't fit him and was playing RG when he was better at LG in St.Louis. Has ties with the new OL coach John Benton(most underrated move thus far) when he played for the Texans. Most definitely a starter if we're paying him that kind of $.

We may still be in it for Strief. Hopefully we sign him or re-sign Clabo.

LT Albert- LG Smith- C Pouncey- RG rookie- RTStrief/Clabo.

He would've got more $ if he went anywhere else believe it or not, which is crazy.
Of course because there if a huge market for LTs this year unlike DTs

But do we want Clabo back, tho? I remember homie was horrible at the beginning of the year. What about Bryant McKinnie we got from the Ravens? Is he gone? Seemed like our OL play got better once he came in. Wouldn't he be a better option than Clabo?

Clabo was horrible in the beginning because he couldn't pick up the new scheme. After he got it down he was straight. Remember McKinnie was a LT though and he had the same problem as Clabo, just backwards, when he started off good but diminished towards the end of the season.

Not sure I want Hester. He'd be a good addition but at what price? I think Thigpen is a decent KR

Miami Herald:
Devin Hester says he would "love" to play for Dolphins
By Chris Perkins

1:03 pm, March 15, 2014
RIVIERA BEACH – Devin Hester, the ex-Chicago Bears specialist whose 18 kickoff and punt return touchdowns are the best in NFL history, seems excited by the possibility of playing for the Dolphins.

“I would love to play for the Dolphins,” Hester said Saturday from his USA Football FUNdamentals clinic at his alma mater, Rivera Beach Suncoast High School.

Perhaps part of his enthusiasm is for business purposes, to create a market. Hester, the former University of Miami standout and three-time Pro Bowl selection, is a free agent. He said 13 teams have contacted his agent, including the Dolphins.

Although Lovie Smith, Hester’s former coach in Chicago, is now head coach with Tampa Bay, Hester said he wouldn’t consider any team as being in the lead for his services next season.

Still, the eight-year veteran perked up a bit at the prospect of playing for his hometown team.

Hester said he’d even be willing to play wide receiver, an experiment that hasn’t been fruitful during his career. Hester has 217 receptions for 2,807 yards and 14 touchdowns, and he’s never seemed to excel in that role.

Hester said he shot down the idea of playing wide receiver for the Bears last year.

“Me and some of the guys on the offensive side weren’t on the same page,” Hester said. “I said if we’re not on the same page we can just let me focus on kickoff and punt returns...It just didn’t click on the offensive side of the ball.”

Hester said the Bears coaching staff and head coach Marc Trestman weren’t upset by his decision.

“No, they weren’t (upset),” he said. “Coach Trestman wanted me for receiver, but I told him I’d rather just focus on kickoff and punt returns.”

Hester, 31, is one of the best to ever play the game in that category. He led the NFL last season with 1,436 kickoff return yards and was sixth in kickoff return average at 27.6 yards per return.

The Dolphins use return specialist Marcus Thigpen for kickoff and punt returns, and 18th in kickoff return average at 22.3 yards per return last season.

Hester said he still has his best asset.

“Last week I ran a 4.38 (40-yard dash) so I’ve still got the speed,” Hester said. “It’s not that. I just have to be put in the right system and get the right opportunity and things will happen.”

HELL NO to Clabo returning, one of the worst players ive ever seen at any position. rookie RT or death, give me McKinnie as a veteran 3rd tackle off the bench Clabo was a turnstile

Richie will bring a media circus with him, he was trash last year im fine on turning the page on him

Hester would be interesting, has to be the right price. Thigpen didnt turn it over but also didnt make any big plays, id be fine with bringing Devin in as the 6th WR spot/KR
