It would be an upgrade,
Never been a fan but we'll see if he converts me. I like Miller's speed but wall speedy backs have never been my preference

With all the rookies and 2nd year players we have at the position it wouldn't hurt to have a veteran RB on the roster but i'm not paying top-dollar for his services.

I don't know why you guys Hate this move. Its a definite upgrade. He's not gonna replace miller. But he's a huge upgrade as a blocking back. Could also give our guys some motivation to push harder

I'm always skeptical of UGA and UM players when the Dolphins get them . Probably because i ve lived around UGA and UM fans and they always over-hype the hell out of "their schools" players and give them every excuse/pass when they dont deliver.

See Lamar Miller. See Yatil Greene. im sure there are more that i cant think of.

Living in Atlanta sometimes they'd have you believe every player coming out of "their school" is HOF bound. I know it's typical to rep "your school" but come on :beli:
I hope he proves me wrong

Is it me or do we have too many good receivers? None of them is a star but all average to above average. Wallace, Hartline, Matthews, and Gibson.

And is that Damian Williams dude any good?

Something tells me Hickey, despite denying it over and over, is more than open to trading Wallace and/or Jordan. Im not gonna lie if a big play type receiver falls into our lap in the mid rounds i wouldn't be mad if we took him and parted ways with Wallace. Love his speed but small receivers like him are not always that successful in the league.

But if i was a betting man i'd bet Hartline could be on the move too for the right price. I love the guy but i wanna see how he recovers from that knee injury. I really like Matthews and feel dude can develop into a poor man's Brandon Marshall if given the opportunity.

Wouldn't be surprised if they traded Hartline but he has the most chemistry with Tannehill so it may not be likely. Then again we have a new GM and they have been working out WR's from the draft. A guy like Josh Huff in the 4th round would turn this offense up and would allow Matthews to slide into that #2 spot.
Too many good receivers is a good thing isn't it? :usure:

I think we have one of the more underrated receiving corps if everyone is healthy. Wallace gives you speed, Hartline gives you reliability, Gibson gives you reliability/some play making skills, Matthews is probably the most talented receiver on the team, and you're forgetting Armon Binns too.Like you said, none are "stars", but each of them excel at something the other doesn't. Matthews a poor man's Marshall? Nah. More like a poor man's Hines Ward.

Williams' most productive year was in 2011 where he caught 45 passes for 592 yards and 5 TD's, mind you he was playing with a rookie Jake Locker. At most he's a #4-5 WR probably brought in to challenge Binns who's coming off the ACL tear.

Let's put it this way fellas, we really shouldn't be upgrading on offense besides the line and tight end, even then I like clay I just wanna know who we could have as our #2, another receiving threat is never a bad thing. Unless a Sammy Watkins type falls into our laps. I saw fukk using an early pick on a receiver. I promise, with lazor running the offense and the upgrade at Oline (let's face it, anything is better than last year. Wallace/Hartline/Matthews/Gibson, I really do hope we can this entire corp intact. No trades, no cuts. This offense will be top 10, I don't wanna stretch and say top 5 barring injuries. Yes I am high, but hear me out.
