So far I'm actually good with this draft. We REALLY needed help on that line, it was terrible last year, but I think we really fixed it, and we should be good there for a while.
Landry was a good pick to IMO.

Very Hines ward like....which is great....him hart line and Wallace all compliment each other

Dolphins need to pick up a blocking TE today for fukk's sake

got him, runs pretty well too

b+ draft for me, no big reaches and addressed some needs. Landry, Lynch and Aikens were all projected higher so the value was good. James was a few spots high but considering no OL went until 45 ill take it

This is exactly what i came in here to say. People say we reached a bit in the first round but reality is when you are in dire need of a specific position, you don't have time get fancy. You take what you can get. We had the 19th pick and i doubt our phone were ringing off the hook to trade down.
We got who we got. I wanted an OL or WR in the 1st round if we didn't get C.J. Mosley but hey :manny:

I think HIckey is going to fill roster spots with other FA's here and there. I'm surprised he didn't take that RB from Ohio State tho but since we signed Moreno it was not an urgent need to reach for.

It's not a bad draft. But it's a pretty conservative one.

James was a solid, but not well known choice. Hickey claims he was BPA but some coaches may disagree. Late 1st/early 2nd round pick. If he went high, it wasn't by too much. Though we should have traded down for him.

Jury is still out on Landry. It may have been a great pick or a total lemon. A 2nd-3rd round pick, and we already have a ton of WRs. That being said, our receiver corp is kind of useless. We need players who can put points on the board.

Billy Turner went in the 3rd, where he was projected. Again, solid. But unspectacular. He'll probably play guard.

Walt Aikens is probably the best value pick of our draft. Great choice. We need to plan for Grimes' exit.

we knew that was gonna happen with all these guys coaching for there jobs still but we made a big splash last year trading for Dion and it hasn't worked out just yet

Yeah, he really needs to see more playing time.

I want both of the O-linemen to be game 1 starters, but somehow I get the feeling Philbin won't let that happen.

Jordan Tripp says he's the most versatile linebacker in the draft and would of been a first rounder if he went to a big school :jawalrus:

there gonna have a rotation and more zone blocking schemes but i doubt Jason Fox can keep his job for long

LOL. By "versatile" he means he'll be playing on special teams unless he can bulk up.
