SMH hartline is the one dude Tanny got chemistry with, Matthews came thru huge last year....oh my fukk what an Incompetent team / front office
i know its business but not a real fan of hartline leavingCats on the phins forum were saying that Hartline might get the boot in order to clear cap space next year. Salguero said that Philbin is not a big fan of Rishard.
Someone is getting the boot unless Landry is garbage.

Chill brehs.
Joe Philbin is not in the business of oppressing rookies, breh. He's in the business of saving his job and saving his job requires WINNING. So you can bet he will do whatever he feels will get him these wins. It's not like Philbin is a long time successful head coach with a great track record who just got off to a bad start with this particular job. This is his first shot at HC and may be his last if he doesn't ale a good impression. He will do what HE FEELS is needed to win and maintain his integrity as a new HC. If what that entails pissing some of you off because you guys think you can do better then oh well.

I know that. Not eer coach has a rosy start to their coaching careers (see Belichek) It's just that some people here be quick to yap about Philbin as if he'll sacrifice winning in order to impose his will as a disciplinarian. There has been that feeling about him ever since the Ocho Cinquo ordeal. All coaches are "in the business of winning." That doesn't mean they're all good at their business.

Truth is Ocho was garbage anyway. If he was worth his mouth another team would have scooped him up. Philbin will play the players he feels will put him in position to win. When we drafted Tannehill the owner and Ireland WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to tell (over and over) people Tannehill would not start. Philbin stayed quiet until he saw what TanneHill could do vs the other vet QBs and went with his gut feeling that Tanehill was ready and just a good if not better then the vets we had.
So if a player gives him a better chance to win i don't see why Philbin would keep him off the field as the previous post that i replied to stated
Yeah and by default the job was gonna go to Moore who started many games the year before but Philbin opted to go with Tannehill,
Umm, what? Philbin "saw what Tannehill could do" and made him the starter? Do you even remember what happened? David Garrard was our starter until he fukked up his knee playing with his kids.
It didn't happen the way you descrbed at ALL.
What happened?

Pouncey may get away with shyt because he's a very good player and a top 5 at his position and even top 3 according to many. I hope Don Jones has been working out hard in the offseason because he may have just put a target on his back with the organization being high on character after the Incognito/Martin fiasco.
