Six hour standoff? I thought this was just a case of run and shoot. The five year old shouldn't have been in that apartment. Whatever she had planned, if anything, she should have made sure the child was safe outside. I hope she wasn't trying to gamble that the cops wouldn't go to war with a child in the house. We know they don't give two shyts about who's in the house at this point. Definitely need that cam footage. It's good that every police shooting will be under intense scrutiny from now on. When you have the power of life and death you need to always have in your head that if you choose death your every breath in that situation will be picked apart until you can be cleared of any wrongdoing.

So, this was going on for supposedly 6-7 hours and according to police she was firing a long gun at police one handed while holding her son? And on top of that, a man which I'm guessing is the father of her children runs with their baby and leaves her alone to play the lone cowboy? The shyt reads like the last scene out of Scarface! Not to mention, there aren't any witnesses that heard gunshots on their block or seen the SWAT team outside? I'm sure crowds of people would have gathered to see what was going on. Get the fukk outta here with this shyt! This is an obvious coverup by the County.

She was unjustly murdered in cold blood and now they are putting in a concerted effort to cover this up and spin the story like it's her fault. As if we don't have multiple instances of whites shooting at cops and brandishing rifles only for them to be taken into custody without losing their life. fukk, the Batman movie theatre killer killed 12 and wounded 70 and he was taken into custody without losing his life.

There isn't any amount of "training', sensitivity courses, and panel discussions that are going to quell white supremacist police officers from shooting and killing black people. The police itself is a racist institution that has it's history in slavery and it's constant oppression of black bodies in black neighborhoods. RIP to the sista.
