shyt we did...If and only if IT can actually play.,.

Naw

Cavs realize how wack this trade was for them.

Kyrie was so good he prevented a sweep against the Warriors.

This trade doesnt help them beat the warriors. Not only that the Warriors would sweep them off the floor averaging 30ppg easy

people talking about fleecing. What good is a 2018 pick if Lebron gone?

They need to win this year. The window is shut close after this season.

They need to package Love and Kyrie and get back some mega stars and shooters

Retaining Kyrie doesn't help us beat the Warriors and that's on top of us having a superstar who has 1 1/2 feet out of the door (getting Bledsoe/George would of)...We obviously need to try to future proof ourselves as much as possible.

Bringing in Crowder and that Nets pick helps us do that a bit...on top of that bish Dan Gilbert saving 20 milly. If IT is healthy and productive this trade would be a boom for us. And if Lebron flaky ass would just commit to stay long term we could maybe put together a trade package involving that Nets pick to bring in a good player to plug into the lineup.

The issue at hand here is Lebron and I'm a Cavs fan that is willing to admit that...If he would just damn commit to staying we could of likely done a bit more. But since he refuses to do so as he wants to keep his options open we aren't a destination city at all.

People tend to favor Kyrie and he was a great 2nd option for us but let's be honest without Lebron we don't make it to the finals any of these seasons. Kyrie and Love and the role players help us to win a championship but we don't even compete without Lebron. If IT is healthy and can score off the ball and continue to score at a good clip in the 4th and draw fouls while he sucks on defense we will still improve as a team....And that's not even counting what Derrick Rose may be able to still bring.

Rather Lebron stays or leaves that 2018 pick means a whole Lot the optionality especially if IT proves to still be productive and have Crowder we could take the BPA and than slide out this lineup or if Lebron stays we could package that Nets pick for a good player.

Lebron is gone for real y'all:
C:Tristan/Zizic
PF:Love/free agent
SF:Crowder/Osman
SG:JR or whoever/Shumpert
PG:IT/Vet minimum/

Draft pick
MLE
Vet minimums

Which is still an eastern conference playoff team.

Lebron may stay because he's in control:
C:Tristan/Frye/Zizic
PF:Love/Green/Jefferson
SF:Lebron/Crowder/Osman
SG:Wade/JR/Korver
PG:Thomas/Rose/Calderon

And if Lebron commits maybe at the trade deadline we could turn that Nets pick and Tristan or Frye or Shumpert into a decent player.

How Ainge gonna try to sly trade a nikka that's hurt? :mjlol:

Now the Cavs have him by the balls.

Everyone knows IT is still hurt, including Boston fans, and the Nets pick is already part of original deal. So Ainge gonna have to give up more to trade for a player he HAS TO HAVE because they don't have a healthy starting PG on the roster.

Why does Bron need to commit in order for the team to make moves that benefit the team? As this trade has shown, everything doesn't have to be black and white, short-term or long-term. The reality is this org has given him every reason not to commit. They have yet to show that they can do anything independent of him (until this trade that is and Kyrie forced their hand). And there is the personal issues with him and Gilbert. He popped all that shyt AND then blew the next 4 drafts :mjlol: If they did a halfway decent job while Bron was gone, they wouldn't even have to go through all this right now and he probably would have committed long term. The Cavs right now could be fielding some mixture of Kyrie, Kawhi, Draymond, Klay, Giannis, Gobert. Just getting one or two more of those guys would've made a huge difference the last 4 years and they could have had them all. Instead they blew it and now they are constantly scrambling to get players just like those guys :dead:. If you had all the leverage and pressure and were the most impactful piece and you already got half a billion with another billion guaranteed you would commit to that?

Actually the 2018 pick is gold if Lebron gone. Gotta secure that future or be stuck in irrelevance again until another Lebron comes along

So why even fret over IT hip at all then. He isnt the future. dude is going to be 30 after this season. He isnt going to be resigned regardless.

So either this trade is about the 2018 pick or this trade is about IT.

Which one is it Cleveland? I strongly feel they want Tatum in the deal somehow.

I think the Cavs are trying to get leverage that they dont actually have. If they grab Tatum or Brown then it would just be icing on the cake for them. It could backfire though and they could be forced to take scraps from milwaukee or phoenix
