Ainge isn't going to renegotiate. He's going to have the deal rescind and leave the Cavs with nothing, especially losing that draft pick. What's more than likely going to happen is that IT is going to be on injured reserve, have the operation done for his hip, and then be traded mid-season for low value. Rumor has it now, that Ainge is in talks with Golden State for Klay Thomspon. Either way, Ainge is going to acquire someone and STILL have the leverage and the picks to get someone if he cannot get Kyrie.

Meanwhile, the Cavs is going to be stuck with Kyrie and more than likely not going to trade him. If they DO trade him it's not going to be as great of a deal they had with the Celtics. People saying this is to the Cavs advantage, I don't see it. That's assuming that Ainge REALLY want Kyrie that bad instead of him really want to get rid of IT.

Something doesn't sound right about this story. So I remember IT decided not to have surgery and would let it heal on its own. but now Cavs doctors are worried about his hip. So to me, either Celtics doctors dropped the ball on the severity of the hip or Ainge knew the hip was worse than expected, and tried to fleece the Cavs which is why they gave up so much. Because they knew Thomas inury was worse than expected. Because how do we get from I'm gonna let it heal on its own to now He hasn't begun running yet which is a concern.

I think Ainge tried to fleece the Cavs. Sell them damaged goods and hope he would of got away with it before the ink dries. It was smart on the Cavs to have IT to go a physical first, well common sense.

Yo what if the Celtics got with the Suns and was able to arrange for IT/Zizic/Pick or player to be moved for Eric Bledsoe. And the Cavs fukked around and came out with Bledsoe/Crowder/Nets Pick?

So why even fret over IT hip at all then. He isnt the future. dude is going to be 30 after this season. He isnt going to be resigned regardless.

So either this trade is about the 2018 pick or this trade is about IT.

Which one is it Cleveland? I strongly feel they want Tatum in the deal somehow.

'Stuck' with Kyrie :mjlol:

Kyrie >>> Brooklyn pick

No Kyrie, no PG for Boston :mjlol:

Cavs have all the cards on this one buddy:russ:

Boston would of been in the same position as they started with enough trade leverage to get a PG elsewhere. Whereas, the Cavs are back with Kyrie and if they trade him elsewhere it wouldn't remotely be as good as a deal they had with the Celtics.

How are the Cavs left with nothing when they have the player that isn't injured? If the trade is voided the Celtics are left with Thomas who may need surgery which would end his season. The Cavs made the trade not just for the BK pick but so that they can compete right now as well, if it were just about protecting the future they would have asked for guys on their rookie deals.

Who you gonna trade?

Obviously Boston wants Kyrie. That's why they traded the Nets pick.

This trade falls through, IT is untradable. Who you moving to getting anyone close to Kyrie's caliber?

the way some of these sports teams doctors have been dropping the ball, I'm glad to see the Cavs were on top of things. I actually feel bad for IT though. won't get a max contract. Got traded from one championship contender to another and now he'll get traded again to probably one of the worst teams in the league.

How can Ainge not draft Fultz or Ball if he knew all this with IT was going on? SMH

He valued Tatum more and received the Lakers 1st as a bonus? This forum has some of the dumbest posters on the internet. The lack of logic and an ability to think outside of hot takes is mind boggling.

Your whole post is the reason Ainge should and will just give the Cavs another 1st round pick to seal this deal.

He essentially has no choice.

You have no PG to get Tatum and whoever else the ball.

No IT and you a 40 win team with a maxed out salary cap

the same people saying Boston lost are the same people saying they would lose if the trade is voided :mjlol:

if the trade is voided, Cleveland is stuck with Kyrie and will get pennies on the dollar from another team.

Boston was never signing IT longterm.

Boston would keep the Brooklyn pick.

Cleveland would lose LeBron, trade Kyrie for less than they got here and have no IT to try to make the "face" of the franchise nor a top 5 pick with the Brooklyn pick/

Now tell me again bytch, who is really losing. It's Cleveland. :russ:
