You really don't think sometimes, you just see me posting and toss logic out the window. Answer this simple question, if a team discloses everything why is voiding a trade based on medical reasons even an option?

From my understanding the medical staff in Boston said that IT just needs to rest his hip. When IT was examined by CLE medical, they said that he needed surgery, something that might signal they took the injury more seriously.

The discrepancy in the evaluations is what CLE is saying the reason for them holding up the trade. Its a lame excuse for them to grab for more from BOS or others and show their fanbase they tried hard to get a lot for Kyrie

cause teams discover and catch things all the time (i.e heart conditions, bone deformations, etc.) but teams must disclose KNOWN conditions. thats a moot point though, cause the Cavs reportedly knew of the condition. if they didnt do their due diligence thats on them

NBA Bylaw 4.03 makes clear that teams must share “all relevant information” about a player’s “current or prior injuries, illnesses, or other health conditions that could affect the player’s ability to play skilled basketball at any point during the player’s career.” Further, no team “shall misrepresent or fail to disclose any such relevant information.”

These disclosures must be made during a conference call with the NBA—the “trade call”—in which the teams notify the league of the trade and state the terms and conditions of the trade. Teams that fail to provide “all relevant information” can be subject to a fine of up to $1 million and be required to forfeit or transfer draft picks.

Honestly, it's a toss-up. But I think the Cs will finish top of the East again and I think the ECF will go to 7 games if it's between Cleveland and Boston.
