Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
cause teams discover and catch things all the time (i.e heart conditions, bone deformations, etc.) but teams must disclose KNOWN conditions. thats a moot point though, cause the Cavs reportedly knew of the condition. if they didnt do their due diligence thats on them

:dead: @ "moot point" a team discovering a condition.....

The Celtics said he doesn't need surgery, the Cavs doctor apparently thinks he does. Like I said, you throw logic completely out the window, they didn't know the severity of his condition until their own team doctor checked him out :mindblown:

No. I did however ask who would be worse than the lakers but nice effort.

Cleveland lost this deal.

No, you kept saying who would be worse because you were framing it as though the Nets pick would be top 3, until it was traded then it instantly turned into a "8-10" pick to you.

cavs still best Boston this year right?
It'll be close this year, but the Celtics are trending up while the Cavs are trending down. Surpassing them is just an inevitability at this point. Only a matter of when. Their rotation is so damn old and broken down (even more so if IT is really a cripple like they're trying to pretend). They get by on the greatness of Lebron at this point, and at 33 years old with free agency looming, they may no longer be able to rely on that.

Exactly. When lebron leaves, the Celtics have an easy path to the finals.

They sooo mad.

yall in here talking about the 2018-2019 season lol. So what if LeBron leave the Cavs and go to a team on the east? worry about the up and coming season, and I don't see Boston beating the Cavs this year

nope. the team didnt just discover this, they should have known this for months the info has been out there. and dont move the goalpost, you literally said..

"they probably didn't know he had a structural flaw in his hips that makes reaggravating it more likely especially without surgery"

that structural flaw has a name and its called Femoroacetabular Impingement. the Celtics are required to disclose all relevant injury information. it would be a joke to think the cavs didnt know this, when the NBA's own website listed the condition months ago.

Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas to miss rest of playoffs with hip injury | NBA.com

"The Boston Celtics today announced that Isaiah Thomas will miss the remainder of this year’s postseason following re-aggravation of a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against Cleveland."

further, if they had a competent doctor they would HAVE to know that condition is a structural hip flaw because a simple google search reveals the following:

"Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a condition in which extra bone grows along one or both of the bones that form the hip joint — giving the bones an irregular shape. Because they do not fit together perfectly, the bones rub against each other during movement. Over time this friction can damage the joint, causing pain and limiting activity."

So it boils down to one or two things, either the Cavs front office and training staff are incompetent, or, they attempted to finesse the system, either way, they played themselves.

I rest my case.

So, please explain how they would know the severity of his injury without getting a look at it themselves.

There is no goalpost moving, and you expect a team to make multi-million dollar decisions based on a google search? :dead: The process of voiding a trade exists for a reason, you're trying to play it off as though the Cavs simply wanting more out of the blue and not because they got a look at Thomas up close.

One team says "He doesn't need surgery" and the other thinks he might, we have an impasse and wants more because of it.

From my understanding the medical staff in Boston said that IT just needs to rest his hip. When IT was examined by CLE medical, they said that he needed surgery, something that might signal they took the injury more seriously.

The discrepancy in the evaluations is what CLE is saying the reason for them holding up the trade. Its a lame excuse for them to grab for more from BOS or others and show their fanbase they tried hard to get a lot for Kyrie
the evaluation argument shouldnt fly, they should have known and considered the risk associated with the injury before executing the trade. they had all the medical records to make an informed decision, it seems they just trying to receive more assets. They probably wont find a better asset than the Nets pick at this point for a rebuild. It would be a disaster to get a players like Middleton and Brogdon and becoming a treadmill team for years to come.

And you're deflecting and refusing to acknowledge that Danny won this trade.

Is Ainge your father or Uncle? Why are you so pressed to have people talk him up?

Meanwhile some random GM said this today -
In an offseason where Paul George and Jimmy Butler were traded by the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls for disappointing returns, the Boston Celtics decided to blow those trade packages out of the water by sending Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving.

According to one general manager, Irving would have to become a top-10 player in the NBA to equal the value of what Boston send to the Cavaliers.

Cleveland also sought either Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum in the trade.

While Irving is a consistent All-Star and one of the best playmakers in the NBA, he is not widely considered to be a top-10 player.

Find him and tell him that Danny deserves his birth right :damn:
