The Cavs aren't trading Kyrie without receiving an adequate replacement. The picks are fine but they need a player for at least a year to supplement their campaignYou're misreading. He's saying if they DON'T trade for Fultz they would be prime trade partners for the Cavs and would've landed Kyrie for nearly the same package they sent to get Fultz to begin with.
Sixers would've been scary.
Couldn't even get the 1st

They already have Calderon and Rose, they're not bringing back Williams and have no use for Chalmers. If Kyrie Irving bidding reopens, Bucks have offer with Malcolm Brogdon, Khris Middleton
Zach Lowe saying Bucks letting the Cavs know they will throw in a draft pick, Brogdon, and Khris Middleton for Kyrie.
If I'm the Cavs I take this deal just for the defense you get two excellent defenders that can lock down guards, reup Derrick Williams, and try to get a solid PG for the vet minimum, someone like Chalmers. You could still flip the pick and love for assets as well.

Take your 2nd round pick as compensation and move along.
Boston got next.....deal with it.![]()

But hey now let's remember IT was the 60th overall pick. Maybe that's where Cleveland will look for his replacement.![]()

No... Just wanted trading asset...Sounds like the Cavs were bluffing or rather overplayed Isaiah's injury according to their team doctors and Isaiah coming out saying he's good to go ruined their bluff......

at all yallAnd to add to its. It can also help trade other players... Teams buy second rounders for 2-3 mil a pop after allNo... Just wanted trading asset...
With that second round of IT is not coming back this season
You can trade IT off the book by giving a second round as incentive to a team that can shed the salary.
At least that's why I would do it
