If Cleveland is REALLY trying to compete with GS next year they could package that Nets pick with Love. I have no clue who they could get right now as I'm guessing PG is a no go. Boogie? no clue. But Crowder means they have 3 legit wing defenders to go small ball with when they play Crowder/JR/Bron at the same time. IT sucks defensively but those 4 with Tristan is a nice defensive squad AND a nice offensive one too. One more star and maybe they can challenge those boys. Maybe

Kinda feel bad for IT4. Boston played him, but he's atleast gonna get to play with Bron and go the Finals. Not sure how this makes the Celtics better in the short term, unless Tatum makes a big leap. At best for the Celtics you're talking about a lateral move between the Kyrie and IT, AND you're losing Crowder. Ainge still seems to be planning more for the future than the present. Bron must have that man shook to death.

I think the Cavs won this trade big time. Kyrie is slightly better than IT, younger and cheaper.
But Crowder is probably one of the most coveted players in the league given his contract and skill set and that #1 could be the actual #1 pick which might yield a player on Kyrie level (long term pov) on top of that

don't even know. Almost every star that would make a difference is either on a contender or just moved. Maybe Jabari? Whiteside? Blake Griffin (don't think he'd be a big upgrade anyway and doesnt fit the style)? DeAndre?
If not Big Cuz maybe just flip Love for some younger versatile pieces or something.

Boston can now pretty much build chemistry this year and win now starting next year when Bron is gone. Kyrie gives them an experienced player.

I do think they gave up too much but Ainge wanted to shed Crowder anyway and wasn't gonna resign IT.

He had crowder has an untouchable like earlier this year tho. Kyrie is just a younger IT. Could've used that pick and crowder to get another player on top of Hayward

Who on the warriors death lineup is he gonna guard. Theyre gonna run pick and roll with curry and kd and you have to switch otherwise steph gets a wide open 3. If you rotate you have klay in the corner abd iggy and green can make plays. Crowder is a good grab. But thomas cant play against gs late

Kyrie gets screened and it's an automatic switch.
