and we've seen isaiah without any other star and hes looked damn good

he scored in sac, scored in phoenix and scored in boston, and we all know lebron makes everyone better

IT will be lucky to avg 16 in Cle next season

Did Wade's scoring go up? How about Bosh? How about Love? How about Larry Hughes? How about Jamison?

Just thought about this: Word was the Cavs were really like 5 mns from the Love for George trade. Assuming Kyrie still wanted out, if they'd have made that trade and still been able to do this they would've had a crunchtime lineup of IT/George/Crowder/Bron/Thompson. That lineup could compete with GS. Plus they'd have the Nets pick

Breh Kyrie got busy with Lebron on the floor and off..

That's Lebron's Robin. He was most consistent option when he needed to deflect.

Kyrie was the man in cle. He better be ready for that next step in boston...

Coach Brad got himself a little squad this year

:mjlol:
Cleveland had a negative net rating when Kyrie was on the floor without Bron

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
over the past 2 years danny has given 60 mil to al horford and gordon hayward

then he trades isaiah thomas, jae crowder, zizic, avery bradley, and the unprotected nets pick for kyrie and marcus morris

:mjlol:

He traded Fultz too.

don't even know. Almost every star that would make a difference is either on a contender or just moved. Maybe Jabari? Whiteside? Blake Griffin (don't think he'd be a big upgrade anyway and doesnt fit the style)? DeAndre?
If not Big Cuz maybe just flip Love for some younger versatile pieces or something.

There's Boogie and potentially Big Spain since it looks like the Grizz are headed for a shytty season and could need a rebuild. They now have the assets to go after either one, that Nets pick will come in handy plus like @jaguar paw pointed out they have their own 2018 pick, a deal centered around some filler + Zizic + Osman + Nets pick + Cavs pick could be enough to get Big Spain or Boogie.

i think this is a nice trade for cleveland. they get a player that can match (or possibly exceed) kyrie's scoring, a versatile 3 + d defender plus that pick? oh yeah, zizic too. that's a good ass haul, especially for someone who everyone knows wanted out.

for boston...shyt...it's a weird ass trade considering the deals they could've made earlier this off-season. on the bright side, they did land a younger, better franchise player just entering his prime.

The Lakers pick is protected, it has to fall between 2-5 for the Celtics to get it. If they don't convey the pick in 2018, it turns into a 2019 unprotected Kings pick. I don't think they won that because they gave the Sixers the piece they were missing, if Embiid is healthy and Fultz is what everyone thinks he is then Ainge has helped create a monster in their own division.

looking at it from that perspective, i agree

but if i'm philly i would have just taken dennis smith and kept the lakers pick anyway

The Sixers liked Fultz more due to his size and his ability to go between the 1 or 2, sort of like Kyrie, which is important since Simmons is going to have the ball a lot. They needed a player that could play at the 1 while being able to function like a 2, I don't think Smith can do that.

A jigga said Rose is better than Thomas right now :dead: I remember last season as a Hawks fan, we had idiots propping up Dwight but he was trash as I said he was. Rose should be fine as a 6th man but his days as a starter much less a star is long gone.

He needs to look at what Eric Gordon did last year and model his outlook after that tbh
