Cavs future got brighter, doesn't help them in the short term tho.
Boston got a premier scorer, five years younger and more marketable.
Cavs won the trade but I don't see much difference in either team, performance wise at least.

True indeed it was lateral but both franchises secured their future especially cleveland if bron bolts they gotta max IT to go with crowder and love plus they can draft another piece and boston got 2 years to convince kyrie to stay

I remember reading on here that the Nets pick/Crowder/Bradley was too much for Jimmy, but IT/Nets pick/Crowder/Zizic for Kyrie works:dwillhuh:
Right. It's crazy breh.

I mean if they were going to trade that pick... can someone explain why they didn't just draft Lonzo or Fultz, trade that pick Nets 2018 Pick for PG13 or Jimmy Butler, and keep IT for this next year, or trade him at the deadline to a team that might be desperate?

:dwillhuh:

So Ainge values Kyrie Irving over Fultz or Ball + PG13 or Jimmy Butler AND keeping IT for next season?

:wtf:

Someone help me understand this fukkery that just happened

And their defense is going to take a massive hit cause they just dealt Crowder and they lost Bradley already

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I agree. I think they are going to finish 6-12. That said, it's still a good pick but assuming Brooklyn will finish last again isn't accurate. They have one of the deepest benches in the NBA. I would have said the 2nd most till Cleveland surpass them by adding Crowder to the bench tonight.

I have their starting five as

Russell
LeVert
Carroll
Booker
Mosgov

Considering their system, I put together the best fit with their likely potential moves.

Carroll is clearly starting with Kenny Atkinson as the coach. LeVert will start over Crabbe just due to his two way ability.

While I have Lin being better than Russell. Russell is a #1 option and Brooklyn needs that is Russell is just far more talented than Lin is.

Booker is an impact player for a role player.

Mosgov tends to do well when he has a role within a system. He struggles when you don't have him in a situation like this.
