How soon ya'll forget how dominant Kyrie was in the playoffs and in the finals against the best defensive team in the league. His scoring and efficiency went up. While IT's scoring dropped from 29 to 23 ppg and efficiency went out the window.

I agree Cavs won the trade but this doesn't make them a bigger threat against GSW. It's a trade that makes their future brighter, sure. But when they absolutely need a boost when Bron needs to coast during spurts who's going to bail them out by carving up the best defense? Not going to be 5'9 IT. Cavs are much deeper now but I just don't like them losing Kyrie.

Also who the fukk are you gunna hide IT on on defense? The finals are going to be a disaster.

Bruh, a lineup of fukkin caris lavert deanglo russel demarre carrol trevor booker and mozgov is not winning shyt this year fam.
You don't know that especially with that system that they have.

They have a lot of good fits for the system. They are young but they aren't that young. They have a solid mix of vets and young players and they have a system that will create for them and more importantly, they fit. Not to mention, Lin as a 6th man is one of the best in the NBA as a backup PG. I like this team as a sleeper. Not a playoff team but much better than people think. I actually watched a lot of Brooklyn games especially in the 2nd half of the season. With Lin in the lineup, they had a solid record. That said, I don't see Lin starting but I can see a lot of Lin-Russell combinations within the 4th quarter like Kemba/Lin.

Their guards aren't the issue, it's their frontcourt that is putrid.

They wont be the worst team in the league, but they should be get the 6-8, and there's always the chance for lottery fukkery.

Let's set aside the roles IT (#1) and Kyrie (#2) have played for their teams the last few years...

Go look at the on/off numbers for the Cavs regarding LeBron. Unless IT is as bad as Kyrie in this regard, hard to be worse, then it's an improvement. I really don't need to get into anything else like Crowder, and possibly Zizic, filling a position of need or what the Nets pick could do... Stevens will make Kyrie a competent player without LeBron, but based on the data we have now dude shouldn't be considered better than IT.

Boston doesn't need to win now, they're waiting LeBron out. Age wise Kyrie is a better fit with Hayward, Tatum, and Brown also getting rid of Crowder gives them more playing time to develop. Based purely on assets the Cavs easily won this trade, but I understand why Ainge did it.

Danny must have looked in a crystal ball and saw that nets pick fall outside of the top 5...

Or Danny lives in some alternate universe where kyrie irving is better than paul george or jimmy butler...

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
@jaguar paw im not reading thru 1000 posts of fukkery to see how ya feeling

whats up

Nets pick (gives them a million options) and Crowder's fit with LeBron sell me on it.

I think the Celtics are not valuing defense anymore by letting Bradley and Crowder go. The majority of teams aren't going to be able to match their offense at peak ability (Cavs, Warriors, Rockets, Nuggets, Wizards starters, and OKC can)

I'm cool with IT...just hope they don't end up giving him a super max. I don't think you can win a title with him playing big minutes in today's climate.

Cavs are deeper. I don't think they are done making moves.

Still think the Warriors repeat.

They have a good core to build with but they still need more pieces and are too young, probably won't be winning many games this season

Tell ya what, i'll bookmark this post and up it later 20 games into the season when they're 5-15 :MjgrinAnime:

what data, hes a trash defender lmao
Depends which data you use, ESPN ones do, but when you breakdown different data matrix, IT isn't a terrible defender, especially team wise. His issue is man to man. He's the worst in the NBA at it as a PG. Too short and small.

You could bookmark it, I stand by what I say. That's a team I think many are underrating while I feel like Atlanta is a team people are overrating. I do not think they could possibly win more than 20 games.
