Without Kyrie the Cavs have no shot of competing with GS. At the end of the day that's what it's all about:yeshrug:
Hmm is that true?. The Cavs need somebody who can get their teammates easy attempts near the basket, and Isiah Thomas provides that because he is good at penetrating the D and passing. The Cavs are not going to beat the Warriors shooting 3 pointers all night. They struggled getting close shots to the basket.Their other problem was they had no solid consistent bench play. I feel like they have addressed this issue, and also fleeced their budding east conf rival for their talent.

I rather have Kyrie than IT and Jae Crowder going into the finals.

You keep talking about offense...the Cavs roster is full of below average to abysmal defenders.

IT, Rose, JR and Love are atrocious.

Bron is alright when he WANTS to play defense, but most of the time he's food as well...unless you count those rare chase down blocks as being a good defender.

TT is undersized and provides no rim protection.

This squad is getting cooked by Golden State in 4 or 5 games again...:yeshrug:

For a guy who wanted to leave and plays no defense and would have been a cancer in the lockeroom the Cavs won, Kylie is just a bigger Isaiah Thomas to me. Crowder is only 26 plays d shoots the 3 and good for 13-15 a game and oh yeah only makes 7 mill a season.

Teams are paying Allen Crabbe, benzemore like 15-20 mill for that production.

Isaiah almost averaged like a point a minute.

is he also going to grow 7 inches to be able to guard steph?

kyrie wasn't stopping steph either. His offense was his defense......what the Cavs get back is someone who can putup points on offense and a hgher ft rate in Thomas and most versatility on defense with Crowder who wont need help guarding people like Draymond, Klay, Iggy and Durant.

John Wall and Brad Beal looking at the Cavs like :eat:

Cleveland got even worse defensively :deadrose:

that same wizards team lost to the celtics:mjlol:

Dudes in here saying 5'9" IT is Kyrie's equal :deadmanny:

pretty much

Same dude that averaged like 5 points before he got "hurt" :dead:

you won't be able to trap him the same way when he's playing with lebron:usure:

The hate for it is disgusting

According to this thread Isaiah is 30 years old, only had one good season in a contract year, is not recovering from his hip, it's hard for him to score, he'll struggle next year, he only averaged 5ppg in the Eastern Conference finals

When in reality isaiah turned 28 this year

Has been in the NBA for 7 years and has career averages of 20 ppg

Is recovering fine from his hip injury no surgery

Scores efficiently and as easy as anyone in the NBA

Has played for 3 different teams and never had a issue scoring whether playing big minutes or not starting or not. Was horrible in the Eastern Conference finals because he injured his hip against the wizards and lost his sister.

Yet persevered and played and only stopped playing when drs shut him down.

Kyrie 6 years in the NBA
21.6 ppg
5.6 assists
45 percent shooter
38 percent from 3

Isaiah Thomas 7 years in the NBA

19.1 ppg
5.2 apt
44 percent shooter
37 percent from 3

Y'all tripping the Cavs are only really a good big man away from challenging the Warriors for the title. If TT showed up at all and the wings hit wide open threes it would have been a more competitive series.

I wonder how IT feels about this situation after giving his all to the Boston Celtics. He really was the heart and soul of that team. Looking at the trades for both sides, not sure if it brings them any closer to beating Golden State.

I'm blaming KD for all of this trade chaos :francis:
