Tatum is a rookie

Tatum avg 17 points in college last year

Brandon Ingram at Duke put up better numbers and could only muster up 9 points on 40 percent shooting as a rookie, it takes time to adjust to the NBA

And? They're two different players in different situations. Tatum also won't be playing for a bum tanking team.

Coli hot takes are something else. :scust:

What the Cavs just got was 10x better than what Pacers got for PG13, Bulls got for Butler, or Thunder got for Durant.

Even in a worst-case scenario where IT leaves (and why would he leave?) they still saved tens of millions in luxury tax, got a strong roster player on a very cheap contract, and got a high lottery pick.

EVERYONE is calling this an A or an A- trade for the Cavs' long-term future, and some of ya'all still got to go to the greatest contortions to try to call it an L for the Cavs just because you hate Lebron that much.

Cavs got the #1 pick in four of the last five years that Lebron wasn't on the team. But look at all the horrible things that happen when Bron's in charge instead. :blessed:
Kyrie is more valuable than PG. PG has an expiring contract

Rookies take time to adjust no matter where they play

Kobe avg 8ppg as a rookie
LeBron averaged 20 on 40 percent shooting

But suddenly Jayson Tatum is going to make the transition with ease more than likely he puts up the numbers Jaylon brown did last year

And? They're two different players in different situations. Tatum also won't be playing for a bum tanking team.

He just turned 28 this year

Kyle Lowry is 32 and got 30 mill a year for the next three

Teams are scared because there has never been anyone this short and good and they don't know how long it can last.

I think under 5'9 Calvin Murphy is the only NBA player who played 1,000 games

Boston gave up their 3 core players this offseason for Hayward who is a year younger than Isaiah creating a logjam at the 3, no defenders, and a team based on team ball with a damn near pure iso player. They're not good.

Boston reached its peak with that core.

They got rid of IT, Crowder, Bradley and Olynk and picked up Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, and Tatum. All things considered, Boston did just fine this offseason.

I just wish Danny would get himself a legit big man that can rebound and helps us with rim protection.

I still feel like Danny has another move up his sleeve (probably before the trade deadline).

What if that pick is flipped for Cousins before the deadline :lupe:

Do you see Cleveland having any luck building around Cousins once Bron (and possibly IT) leaves?

Is Cleveland going to attract any big-name FAs to join with Cousins as their potential #1?

I don't think Cousins is enough to convince Bron to stay. And I'm pretty sure IT and Cousins isn't going to work out as a tandem (remember Sacramento?).

I think someone like Deandre Jordan could help both Boston and Cleveland tremendously but I don't know if he is worth a high pick.

nah, kyles deal is trash too
isaiah will be 29 by the time he hits free agency
someone that small relies on athleticism much more than kyle lowry does
he's already coming off a fukked up hip...and he's gonna want a 4-5 year deal...he'll likely be done towards the end of that kind of deal.

He's not
Jordan is 30

I would not give up a high pick in a great draft for a 30 year old center.

I'd rather see if maybe a Shumpert, frye and a future first protected could get you biyombo
