it depends on the child and the circumstance. ya never know.I wonder if some you of that praise fathers for doin the same thing to their sons will keep it consistent with your opinion on this
if you got a super fragile kid. you may not need to go this far. she was a super fragile child. she jumped without hesitation. which tells me she was already ready to jump probably before the hair incident. that was the last straw for her. now was that the last straw because pops was overbearing? we will never know.
or was it her last straw because she couldnt have her way in her fathers home? again, we will never know. just because some kid kills themselves after being reprimanded for bad behavior it doesnt mean the reprimand was wrong. it doesnt mean the person doing it was wrong either. its not as cut and dry as some try to make it seem. lets find out all the facts on pops first. then we can make a valid judgement.
until then RIP to the youngin. and to any other youngin thats ready to jump because your folks public shamed you. imagine all the kids who got whooped or slapped in public back in the day. imagine all of those kids running and jumping off of bridges even though they were in the wrong and deserved what they got.
example. Lets say your folks dont curse. and your parents have told you time and time again do not curse. then all of a sudden yall are out at a family outing and you curse out your sibling at the table for all to hear. and moms smacks the Ish out of you(WELL DESERVED). if said bad mouth unruly child jumps off a bridge, i aint blaming the parents for the smack. thats on him for asking for the smack more or less and not being big enough to suck up the punishment. if you cant do the time dont do the.....

if your child is super vein and everything he/she does is based on their looks. and you have tried all other punishments and they keep going against your rules. then yes you can cut that hair off. or take those jordans, or take that gear. whatever it is you know they think they have that makes them who they are when in reality it doesnt.
OR you can kick the kid out and send him/her to child services and let them put ya kid up for foster care. i mean you really dont have many choices if you actually have a kid that refuses to listen and do right. either get at them with something they value a lot. OR put em out. just know if you put them out and they end up in foster care. a little shaming aint nothing in compared to what they will face being some foster kid to most of these fake foster parents that use that title to abuse kids by using them as little worker bees or sex slaves, or just a check(half feeding/clothing them, not paying them any attention.)
There are rules in ya parents house. abide by those rules or deal with the consequences. stop expecting ZERO consequences for your actions. it dont work like that at your folks house because it wont work like that in the real world. a little hair cut is light weight. you get outside doing some ridiculous nonsense. and you may end up dead or in jail or laid out by someone. ya never know. and this isnt to say the little girl deserved it. we have no idea what transpired so let that be.

sorry to hear about your niece. but this is not that. completely different scenario.Only a matter of time before something like this happened.to the girl. I had a niece pass away at 9 years old in a car accident, this shyt pisses me off.
this should only piss you off if you know this little girls household situation. if you know the father is just way to over bearing. but we have no idea what this girl did or kept doing to drive pops to a haircut and taping episode.
she may have been caught sexting some grown a... man for the 3rd time. ya never know.
or she may have not deserved it. we DO NOT KNOW. so no reason to be mad at her or him. either way what we do know is she overreacted regardless of that situation. jumping off a bridge unless you're on fire is not the move.
what if a little haircut was the difference between your daughter becoming an instaThot or becoming a college grad with a nice family one day. would you chop that hair off or would you go soft?

I'm not with humiliating your kids online for "punishment" but what's the point of attacking the father now? he already got the worst ether he could get. There's ppl going thru a lot worse than what this girl had done to her. This shyt was very mild.

Yall are reducing this to suicide over a hair cut when it was most likely a cumulative effect. You don't just become abusive out of the blue, I doubt this type of behavior was isolated to this incident. If he did that on Instagram in front of people ain't no telling what he did or said to her in private.
