Once the NFL Network takes away ESPN Monday Night games it is going to be a wrap for that network...

Say what you want about Goddell but he is a smart business man...the NFL has to be in bed with ESPN because they by far cover the league more than anyone...and with the NFL network getting bigger every year Goddell is slowly turning it from the NFL needs ESPN to ESPN need the NFL...

mike and mike is money maker for them, so is skip & sas, and tony & wilbon. his and hers is doing well for them, don't see that getting cut. they need to get rid of shyt like NFL insiders which is followed by NFL Live, gets redundant, just give them a segment in NFL live. they also have too much sportscenter on, that was needed int he 90's, not so much right now. more documentaries, even dreaded reality tv might put some life in them

what about sportsnation?

Depends. Knowing sports is not my JOB but if it was you could be for damn sure I would know a bout sports that MILLIONS of people watch. Cricket in terms of total people who watch it is more popular than Football and Hockey.

Another thing is I don't need to have fukking updates on fukking people reporting to NFL training camp. ESPN football coverage is by far the most heinous. Especially with Mr. "2 Cell Phones and both them bytches slappin'" Adam Schefter. Seriously the NFL coverage is annoying. its the shortest season, some of the most uncharismatic players (nothing worse than baseball though) etc.

And I still don't think ATH and PTI need to be right next to each other...:manny:
cricket is big in india and GB....that's not the US...ESPN's american broadcast shouldn't sink resources in something their audience doesn't care about. i don't follow soccer, but it seems like they have done a better job at getting soccer heads to cover it, so they're making strides. and i agree ATH and PTI are two shows i like, but the cover the same topics in damn near the same order. first take could easily be 1 hour as well, show is all filler

:beli: Who cares?

Channel is straight bullcrap anyway. It's honestly UNWATCHABLE during the summer months...

I'll tune back in (minus breaking news and some live baseball games) when football season starts.

Literally, they start you off with a show of ADs (Cac and Cac) oops, I meant mike and mike) and about an hours worth of talking, with one fruitcake and the other a paid troll who acts like "a typical (cac) man" then we go to the 2 most famous "talking" heads Skip and SAS :scust: then we see mike and Jemelle, NFL Live (in the summer:scust:), and more of the same 10 topics discussed by new "analysts" and panelists...Best things on ESPiN are 30 for 30s (all good!!), and a couple of shows that come on at the worst times... Sports Reporters and that Bob Ley show (both on Sunday morning)

Just make WatchESPN a standalone app separate from cable companies and charge people $9.99 per month or something similar

And stop with all these repetitive opinionated shows

1 or 2 of them are fine but when your entire lineup is filled with shows all talking about the same shyt it turns people off

Thats the main reason why I stopped watching and im pretty sure all the other customers they lost will say the same thing
Yep. That damn His and Hers needs to:camby:

what about sportsnation?
sportsnation could work if they got the format right, i think they should be out and about on the streets or have more audience engagement, focus on the fan. it's call sportsNATION, why not make sports fans/the audience/regular people more integral. max and marcellus are dope together (fukk beadle), but sportsnation always comes across as unnecessary. ESPN needs to think outside the box, damn near everything they do is a set based studio show, so many more ways to create content, not all their shows need to talk about the most recent tweets and shyt, they can have more pre-filmed programming

Couldn't ESPN cut the chord with Baseball and just air cheaper content like Canadian Football, Arena Football and more MLS?

ESPN also needs to cut the chord with the WNBA

yea they'll cut costs not paying for MLB, but would viewrership and ad revenue from CFL, Arena Football and MLS make that up? i doubt it
